We all needed tiger when he came around, golf was on the decline, he brought it to the next level. Scottie is going to have to be the new face of the PGA tour
Amazing speed and balance! Wonder where he would hit it with today's clubs and ball. Would have loved to see how 97' Tiger handled his opening drive, especially since that hole has sometimes given him trouble over the years. Just shows you how far coverage has come, multiple shots missing here that just weren't televised. Today we have featured groups on big events and you can see every swing.
He had the longest drives in the tournament. Why did he feel the need to bulk up? Did that help his game. 2024 at 48 he's ahead of Rahm and Mcilroy halfway through
Tiger had his run and it's over now. Last place in the field because his broken body will not allow him to play golf like he used to. He needs to bow out gracefully and admit that it's time to go. And believe me I I'm his greatest fan.
He still beat JT, Jordan Spieth, lots of the LIV guys, Wyndham Clark (defending US Open champion) and other big names. Would love to watch every shot from one of your rounds, hacker
I miss these days when golf was civilized without the stupid loud shouting, and don’t me started on the ridiculous LIV tour. Gentlemen’s game back then
It was Tigers first major; he was and still is the youngest player to win it, he won it by 12 strokes, he was the first Black man to win the Masters and is still the only Black man to win the Masters. Lots of firsts in there to get the Media and the Golf fans worked up over. Shame you are unable to see that.
@@scotttyson7970 I was just pointing out why the Media made such a big deal after he won his first Masters. Media made a big deal out of Jack and Arnie as well.
So strange to watch Tiger play without roars on every shot

4:48 that was an incredible shot
its insane how close spectators were allowed to stand back them
Steel shafted driver🐐
He was up by so much but still competing on 18. Goat
So nice thy people aren’t shouting “GET IN THE HOOOOOOOOLE” as he connects with the ball

What a talent on the bowl shot
Thee GOAT in his prime.😎
Why would you label this every shot of the final round when it isnt? Multiple holes are missing his tee shot
Every televised shot
Only Faldo could give Tiger some guff about his Sunday Red.
Back when pro’s could work a driver both ways. Amazing to see how much his swing changed throughout his career.

Record holder now for consecutive years making the cut. So impressive even if the body lets him down being competitive the whole tournament.
This should be called every bad shot.
Seriously. I remember him playing better. He really sprayed it back then and his short game wasn't polished the way it came to be a few years later.
Lol😂
Back when people actually watch live stuff instead of watching their camera phones in front of their faces.
“It looks like a mirac-IT’S IN THE HOLE! IT’S IN THE HOLE!” 😁
hits it into the other fairyway on 18, largest margin of victory ever. lol.
Every Masters program, I have to fast forward past the shmaltzy music and talk opening
Ok
Don't even remember what I was doing n 1997?
. 4:16 ! 8:32 11:22
The breathtaking drama makes me sick 😫
I'd rather watch Tigers every shot from the 2024 Masters hahhaha

@@Ryan1996 Dead last Hilarious
@Bmille1965 89 players in the field and he finished 60. Dead last would be 89th
@@Ryan1996 ok of those who made the cut 60th sounds so much better

I still can't believe the Press made such a big deal out of Tiger winning the Masters. But that's America.
Tiger did this before I was born. What were the press saying?
Wtf are you talking about?
