Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

I could watch Tiger double bogey every hole, those special shots where you see Tiger do something a little different than you would have gotten from the rest of the field are like a childish delight for me.

It was so sweet and adorable to see the fans keep cheering him on so greatly as he moved through the course. The standing ovation at the end shows that this man is still loved and he is a living legend.

His 3rd shot on 10 after the punch out was so pure. Also 95% of his drives were money
he hit 9 of 14 fairways off the tee.... so, more like 64%.. but, yes, that par save on 10 was awesome.
He didn't score, chipped and pitted with indifference. All that and this still may be one of my favorite masters ever. Tiger is back one of my wishes granted.

What's really crazy though is that Scottie Scheffler was wearing "TW" shoes and playing like we were use to seeing Tiger play. Congratulations Scottie! However, it I was so awesome to see Tiger's name back on the board. If Tiger can make it 4-rounds at Augusta, hopefully we can see him in several more tournaments this year. I'm sure his name will climb as the season and his health progresses. Welcome back Tiger! You were missed!!!
Scottie also uses the P7TW irons 5-PW - Tiger goes 3-PW - I'm guessing he's a Tiger fan as well ;-)

This is a tough tournament for anyone, Tiger wasn't the only one having troubles out there today. Best round out there today I saw was Rory McIlroy's 64, hard luck for Cam Smith especially that triple on 12, and Scotty is on a roll to say the least. Tiger, well, he'll be working harder than ever now....never count him out!
Justin Rose who use to lead most round of Masters 2021, but this year he can't make the cut
Matsuyama fail to defend his title with only +2, he was nowhere the top lead
The South Korea player lead after first round struggle next three round, he finish outside top five and nowhere the leader

It's a historical day for Tiger! In a way, he won today. Not another green jacket, but a hope. It was epic watching him play again!
I knew he wouldn’t miss this tournament!! He looked great! A lot of people thought he wouldn’t play, let alone be competitive.

He needs more time to recover. He pushed himself, he knows he can do it and we know it too, he’s just not physically ready yet. I don’t doubt he’ll win the masters next year when his body is a lot more loose and not in as much pain. Remarkable performance in the circumstances, inevitably the pain and fatigue got him as the week wore on. He's already pencilled in St. Andrew's this summer. 🐅
Pain and fatigue weren't major factors, he just wasn't dialled in, I watched every minute. 15 months off golf, give him until St Andrews and he'll be in the running we all hope

If that “special win” is going to happen his last chance will be at the Open. It’s at St. Andrews, his favorite course in the world. He’s already won twice there before. It sounded like he wasn’t going to play in the PGA. I don’t believe he was asked about the U.S. Open.

@@beckyhenkel7917 he does believe but he doupts himself to much he used to go up look at a couple angle and boom hes got himself a birdie now he stands there mumbling at times he doesnt get low and look at bumps and slants just hits and hopes now, he was special at putting but hes kinda lost it.. dont get me wrong i cheer only for tiger im a big fan of his its just my opinion

You can tell he was very injured and not ready during this. He played for golf and the fans. It’s still incredible he made day 4 still recovering from bad injuries

That putt on 14 was ridiculous. He barely hit that and went by the hole like 30 feet and then makes it. Unreal

He didn't look BAD all things considered. A little rust, a few unlucky breaks, some mishits, and less than average putting, but certainly nothing he can't go back and work on. Some of that was just tough course conditions. Everyone struggled at one time or another, but that's golf. For not having played competitive/tournament golf in over a year, I'd say it was largely a success.

The last time I golfed [ 2011 ] I scored 6 over 78.
I was playing a qualifying round for The 'Tiger Woods Tournament'... Missed the cut by two strokes.
This man was out of golf one year; Playing on practically one leg and made the cut. ( out scoring most of the field playing healthy ) I expect him to win the British Open.
The look on his face after the second shot on 18 says all one needs to know about Tiger. Even though he was WELL out of the tournament, he looks as if everything depends on that one last iron shot. He just needs to stay away from driving cars altogether (wife beats car, found wasted in car, etc...)
Shot tracers would've been nice. Otherwise tho, thanks for the upload.
Tiger dont care about the pot...hes proving he still got it...and showing skills from anywhere on the course that no one will ever have....i swear it looks like all his mistakes arent mistakes.

Let's keep in mind a little over a year ago doctors were debating whether to amputate his leg. Now he's back on the course and competitive.

Tiger 78 . 14 more than Rory guess what he took 46 shots 100 yards or less exactly 14 more than Rory. He took 34 putts 13 more than Rory. He hit 10 greens one less than Rory. It’s all down to the short game.

Tiger, at the masters in Augusta, Georgia. You were trying too hard and pushing yourself out there. It wasn't you playing you wanted to prove yourself but it doesn't pay to do that. Just focus and be calm and you can do better by not trying too hard.
