Seeing This interview after the movie definitely is spot on in terms of the media watering down and downplaying import topics and I’m sure the actors wanted to show the contrast to real life wow what a brilliant thing they did, you can definitely see the shallow interviews now. A movie about the blatant disregard for urgency and even still real life interviews don’t try to change smh a missed opportunity to direct the conversation to something important and all she can talk about is the same shallow things the movie talks about. What a great allegorical masterpiece this just shows they’re deliberately disregarding important conversations and topics in real life. This was brilliant I hope this encourages positive change

HUGE respect to Jonah for bringing up hr794, using this platform to bring attention to what really matters right now. I imagine this show really forced them not to talk about climate change too much to avoid bringing down the mood, just like the morning show in the movie. Mad respect for anyone that uses their platform to take action on climate change. Just like the movie portrayed, it’s what everyone SHOULD be doing. We can’t afford to lose everything to apathy.

As someone born in the eighties, having been force-fed this crap throughout my childhood and early adulthood, it is so painful, yet satisfying to watch these dinosaurs, in 2021, still scrambling to maintain their legitimacy in an era where podcasts and other forms of independent media dominate, with a lack of corporate/network control and their ability to have sincere and unedited discussions about whatever the subject may be.

Unfortunately, I bet MSM will try to adapt and make their own podcasts to regain viewership, if anyone even cared to watch. Great job talking about the movie and not the cheesy jokes that were played out on the set

"This movie is about climate change, and about everyone's inaction towards scientifically assured extinction.... so about that fart machine you brought, Jonah! And isn't it funny that Meryl doesn't know what GOAT means? Did you have fun mocking Jennifer Lawrence?"
So... basically, even when talking about the movie, you still manage to embody the worst parts of society that the movie was satirizing. Okay then.

I am just finished being ready for Christmas in Rossett North Wales and I feel compelled to say Merry Christmas to Meryl Steep. I know everybody gushes and I am no sycophant to be clear but I feel compelled to thank Meryl Streep for endearing me with her Gravitas and I want to genuinely wish you and your family a Merry Christmas because if I was L'Oréal you would truly be the one who is worth it. Your seamless inspiring immersion into your work, your grounded intelligence and passionate public honesty commands only admiration and respect and that is the inspiration I can thank you for as I am sure your family do. As one human being to another I applaud you Meryl Streep.

I really like Jonah Hill, peeps calling him out for changing his style. Is that a cool part of life - you look back at your baaaadddd style and evolve.

I would’ve loved for this interview to be more serious. Such a topic is not easy to portray in film let alone the brevity of the subject.

The irony is suffocating, given the movie's premise and outlook on shows like this....
