@@92bagder Yeah, I unfortunately missed out on that card. And since it's up to over 50$ a pop it's above my price range anytime soon. The irony is we had a Sevinne commander deck in stock at the Walmart I work at for the LONGEST time and I never bought it because the deck itself was pretty garbage. Little did I know a pricey gem would rise from that deck quite rapidly. I might buy it one day, or if they reprint it pick it up then, after all I bought a Phyrexian Scripture Elesh Norn for 481$, although that was a very special circumstance because Phyrexia is my favorite plane and the one card I was willing to make na exception for. But my artifact saheeli evolved in an artifact Jhoira and became much more degenerate. It's capable of a turn 3 win with a perfect hand and perfect draws but quite often can win by turn 4-5 either way. Jhoira with the historic draw trigger honestly should never have been printed, however that can be said for a lot of cards in mtgs history. Lol...
Try Mycosynth + Darksteel Forge +Vandal Blast. Boom. You've destroyed all artifacts except your artifacts are indestructible. If you want to be even more evil, Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge + Nevinnyral's Disk. Repeatable one-sided board wipe (Nevs disk doesn't sacrifice itself, it just "Destroys all artifacts... and creatures and enchantments but everything's an artifact and yours are indestructible!) Bye bye all of your opponents permanents including their lands! I also found this while tinkering with Saheeli!
@@ethanschulze557 you don't need the forge with Vandalblast since it already destroys each artifact you don't control when overloaded.

That's why the overload for Vandal blast is so broken, because it basically wins you the game, even if you don't have enough of an established board state to win the turn you cast it with Mycosynth out, it basically gives you a 5-6 turn lead which any magic player worth their salt should be able to easily turn that into a win every time.
My favorite commander combo is the one when everybody at the table is having fun and suddenly that one guy opens his mouth and says “I found my combo and won the game”, the fun is over and everyone goes home crying

Yeah.... I know a lot of people like Sultai, but Bant has stuff like.... Estrid.... And Chulane.... Nasties in general. Imagine Azorius control but with ramp.
Hey Professor! My favorite combo in Magic, is having Sliver Queen, Mana Echoes, +1 Other Sliver. Love to make it happen in Commander!
My favorite combo is playing a basic land, then playing a 1st round sol ring. Truly evil.
followed by an Arcane Signet and a Land Tax.

"Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose" + "Exquisite Blood". It's like EB + Sanguine Bond but Vito's madman pose reflects my own maniacal laughter when I pull it off
My favourite combo in Magic is “Professor’s Warning” and “Time Wipe”, because when I see new TCC vids in my feed, I tap out every time. ;3

One of the first combos I remember doing as a kid was Bear Umbra and Hellkite charger, which would get you infinite combats as long as you had enough lands. It’s still in one of my commander decks to this day, and whenever I pull it off, it’s an absolute blast.
Hi friends. The combos I like best are not infinite combos, but cards that just work exceptionally well together. I play a lands deck in EDH, so synergies like Lotus Cobra, Scapeshift, and Splendid Reclamation make me all fuzzy inside.
I have a theory that The Instructor is really just the splintertwin token of The Professor from when he tried to combo off during a kitchen-table game

Edit: Gotta admit my favorite combo in EDH is Ghostly Flicker, Sunscorched Desert and Any Dual Caster Mage effect; so you can claim you defeat your opponents by flinging sand at their faces.

Favorite MTG combo ever? The old classic "Channel+Fireball"! I started playing during the Ice Age block and when I heard about it, I always wanted to try it in a deck... A few years ago could finally complete a budget deck using this combo! Totally love it! Greetings from Chile!!!

Favorite combo right now is Birgi: God of Storytelling with Grinning Ignus for infinite ETB triggers. With Terror of the Peaks or anything similar that’s GG!
I just recently got back into magic after I moved and didn’t have anyone to play with for a while, and as with anything that I get into I have been diving headfirst Into trying to learn absolutely everything I can about this game and I just have to say your videos have been amazing. Subscribed right away and have been loving the content so far. This whole series is a huge help. Keep up the good work!
Alright so hear me out. You have Archelos as your commander, you have him on the field untapped. you have on the field a Fatestitcher, a Sakura-Tribe Scout. a land in your hand that can bounce itself, a retreat to Coralhelm, and either Yarok or a Ancient Green Warden. Tap the Sakura-Tribe Scout, put into play the bounce land, have it bounce itself before it does tap it for mana. With Yarok or Ancient green Warden, retreat to Coralhelm gives you 2 triggers. Before they resolve tap Fatestitcher tapping anything of your opponents. now with the 2 Coralhelm triggers, untap both the Fatestitcher and Sakura-Tribe Scout. repeat until your opponents have everything tapped. have Archelos be tapped for your opponents. on each of your opponents upkeep steps, repeat this process, so everything stays tapped. with Archelos being tapped, they cant even play a land as it will enter tapped. once its back to your turn, you should be able to win in a multitude of ways. This combo works with several other cards but this is the easiest since it doesnt require infinite mana, and if you have something like a Zendikar's Roil you have infinite damage.
Try this, Have Astral Slide in play alongside a Spellpyre Phoenix and Gavi, Nest Warden cycle Decree of Annihilation slide out Phoenix. End of turn Phoenix comes back returning Decree to your hand. Repeat. No one is allowed lands. NO ONE!

@@PatrickSlingshotGuy honestly tho that’s where it’s at. Back when I played Tatyova I had Life and Limb, Intruder Alarm, Mesmeric Orb, and Laboratory Maniac as my hidden five card win condition and it was hilarious because it could fall apart so easily
My favorite combo is one that i actually came up with myself , back in 2004, as a teen with next to no access to the internet i came up with Marrow-Gnawer + Faces of the past + any 2 other rats = infinite rats.

The Instructor needs a bit of an evil brush up! Lavinia Azorius Renegade or Drannith Magistrate combined with knowledge pool locks out your opponents without affecting you at all!
I enjoy Teferi Temporal Archmage and Chainveil. Digging into the rules to help myself understand this combo got me hooked on looking up rules anytime anyone in my playgroup had a question. I'm by no means a judge, but I like learning about some of the intricate rulings throughout Magic.

My Favorite Combo has always been Ad Nauseum/Peer into the Abyss, + Sickening Dreams + Angels Grace in an Ikra Shadiqi x Tymna Deck. I love drawing all of the cards and discarding them for me is just so satisfying. Thanks for all the great content Professor :)

That's because he's been busy CAUSING ALL THIS CRAP!
Because he is busy designing secret lairs. Apparently they now forward his letters straight to the printing facilitys.
Remember, it's an investment first, second and third and game somewhere in the past when they released the first block. So obviously game play related work takes a backseat.
My best combo is the classic Cannel, black lotus, fireball. Always loved the classics. Congrats for the channel! Thanks for everything!

My favourite combo is: "Many Magic the Gathering players" + Chaotic Evil Professor
Ok, I’ve got two things. 1. Audible is great I use it a ton. Nothing like crushing some Brandon Sanderson at 1.5 speed. 2. Wizards just sent me $20 free dollars to use on secret lair because they screwed up my secret lair. But what if they screw up that secret lair...the endless possibilities! (Sorry no commander comment, it’s just not my thing!)
Tree of perdition + Triskaidekaphobia is just a fast and sweet way of loosing friends
My favourite combo that I ever saw (not built) was a green/red deck based around Warp World. It was in a kitchen table casual multiplayer match. There was Eternal Witness to recur the sorcery, mana dorks, creatures that generate tokens when they come into play, and something to give their creatures haste. It had a chance to brick, but usually by the time it started going off, the player would have something like 20 permanents in play, so the odds of shuffling into an Eternal Witness and enough mana to cast Warp World again were pretty high - and in the process they'd get even more permanents due to the amount of tokens, while their opponents tended to get fewer and fewer permanents as their decks had at least a few instants and sorceries and nothing to generate more permanents on ETB. After a few iterations, they had most of their library in play and dozens of tokens, so they could just swing at everyone for lethal in one attack phase.
Compared to something like Neoform which can go off on turn 4 it's not competitive but the absurdity of how it all worked made my day.
I find it incredibly funny that Ral, Storm Conduit existed for two years and nobody made the connection between his static ability and Chain of Smog.
I like how the professor grew a goatee just to get the point across that he's evil haha

Loved discovering the Boros Reckoner simultaneous lifegain/damage combo with Boros Reckoner, a flashed in Dictate of the Twin Gods, and 1 drop instant lifelink and Boros Charm.
Favourite combo: Pako and Haldan playing fetch with everyone's libraries...I really like the flavour of Pako thinking everyone's spells are his sticks!

As a Teenager my first combo I put together back in the 90s was "Endless Wurm" and "Rancor". Suddenly I felt like a Genius.
Weird. My first combo learning the game back in M13 was wolfir silverheart (soul bonded with something) plus rancor. Rancor is cool!
Channel + Fireball (+ Black Lotus) is one of my favorites because it's a classic and I think it was the first time when I was kid that I saw how combos could happen. It blew my mind at the time, and finding combos is still one my favorite parts of the game.

I like using Enduring Ideal to get them into play so that my opponent doesn't know what is happening till it is too late to do anything about it
I’m a simple guy. The only combo I ever pulled off multiple times was Niv Mizzet + Curiosity + a cold shower.
I remember when I had put these two cards in a deck not realizing the combo and my joy when they hit the table and was able to take someone out.
The Instructor must have a degree in acting or something, because whatever I just saw is TV worthy.
Not the most experienced player myself but one I love as I'm a HUGE Naya commander player is...brace yourself for originality is terror of the peaks, with sporeweb weaver and Heliod sun crowned can be mixed with heroic intervention and/or warstorm surge or impact tremors for game either making infinite tokens or infinite damage to everyone...
Not the most advanced but I love it for simplicity and giggles...
