It is good to see it again. I grew up in Dunedin and took the train (BEFORE the tourist trains!) or the railcar inland to go tramping. I've even walking through one of the tunnels, then across the bridge!
Mostly packed, just a few things I need to pack in the next few days and we'll be off! Thank you so much for your videos, website and blog. You have helped me immensely in choosing what activities to do.
@@AdamPersonal Nice one! Look no more, we have tens of videos of awesome things to do in Dunedin -> ua-cam.com/users/BackpackerGuideNZsearch?query=dunedin
@@NZPocketGuide not sure if this is relevant now but I work for Glenbrook Vintage Railway (you may know about it) but to close and open you need to hold both levers down and if it's jammed you move it up or down with a bit of force and it should come lose for you to pull it down 😉😃 and some times you can't put it all the way down due to a metal bar that sits in the window frame to keep it up😀

Glady to have provided you with a bit of nostalgia haha!
I went on this trip in February and it was stunningly beautiful.
Brilliant! What else did you do in the area?
Hi I like your video
Thanks for the love Mark :)
You guys are awesome. We are taking all your advices for our 15N plan trip to NZ. Thank you so much for the good work you do.
Nice one! We're glad to hear we are helping you with your trip :)
Oh this would be fun, but I don't think we'll have time for this. We leave next Friday the 9th! So excited!
Awesome! If I remember your other comments you'll have a very busy time when in NZ, have you already packed up?

Thanks for the kind words! We'll keep exploring even more, we're only half way through the year, so you might have to come back haha ;)
It was much better when it went all the way to the end at Seddon then Middlemarch.
Hopefully they reopen soon :)
Hindon is so close to where I live lol
Awesome! What are your "local" tips on what to do in the area?
@@NZPocketGuide Bush Walks
I’m going on this in January.
You are going to love it! What else will you be up to in Dunedin?
I am going to be in Dunedin until February. So probably some bush walks and try out the pool, I don’t really know what to do.

@@KiwiRailSpotter Haha yep same thing here, she just did not figure it out fast enough haha
@@NZPocketGuide well not too useful now a bit too late but something to keep in mind when you go on vintage NZ trains
Hindon dog! not as good as the Tekapo sheepdog...
The Hindon Dog is more for hipster dog statue-chasers (if there is such a thing? there should be).
How old are you and do you have children
No kids here, we're too busy with our awesome job haha!
