I’ve watched a couple of your posts and you seem to have an engineering mindset to get over problems to make the Govee 💡 look professional. That’s why I subscribed. Great content, all the best from 🇬🇧 UK.
too bad I just saw your videos. I installed the amazon raceway and actually came out to about .94 per foot back after thanksgiving. I definitely noticed the flimsiness during install. im hoping it will stand up for a few years. good thing is I haven't rented the lift for the upper 150 feet yet so im considering yours for that install. I'll chance it for the lower section and see if they and the tape holds up.
Thank you for the consideration. I just launched them. After installing 5000 ft of govee over the last 45 days, trying many options… I landed here, making my own system that I believe truly satisfies the goal of a professional look, durable and “permanent” option for the life of the lights.
This one was 11.3 apart. I think it would look amazing however requires a quite large govee purchase as you would be purchasing over 800 ft of govee kits for 400ft linear home
@@jroweinc I measured and I need 97 feet of lights. I am going to order the 100 foot pro and the 16.4 foot extension to make sure I have enough flights. My question is if I order the 100 ft permtrack will I have enough track for the 97 feet or should I assume I need more track just in case?
I just preordered 2 100’ kits and waiting for them to get off back order. I was wondering what length and gauge brads or finish nails you use with your nailer, in between the lights, in the channels?

Thank you so much for the kind words and subscribing. New content coming this month and more installation methodology improvements. 🍻 cheers

I think it needs to be 6 inches apart. This is to have a maximum impact with the effects of the lights. Thoughts??

Do you notch out where the track passes the perpendicular trim at the time of your final install? Love your vids!
Ty! It depends on how thick the perpendicular trim is to allow the track to lay snug, In this case, not necessary as it’s very thin
Outdoor2 and Elite aren't showing up on your website?
Yes, we have paused orders for the moment 24-48 hours while we evaluate inventory. Thank you!
Can you please explain or provide a video on how permtrack works on the angles on a peak of a garage? Thanks!
Yes, in a few days/ this week I can get that up. Be sure to subscribe to be notified. Thanks!
@@jroweinc thanks so much!

@@KeithGehring-j9i you will have enough. Just order the 100ft kit. It comes with a little extra as well.

Thank you for your order. 18 gauge 1” have proven ideal for hardie board soffits. If vinyl soffits you would want to use screws.
So my biggest question. What happens to govee outdoor “permanent” lights when the lights give out? Replaceable? Are you just out money?
Within 3 years…warrantied. 50,000 hour rating. Yes they can be replaced. Generally you replace a 10 light strand if that were to happen.
Do you have a link for them? I’ve tried searching online and I haven’t found them.

Does govee sell that?

The track costs more than the lights.. lol
Lights and tracks together are still quite less than the $20 or more per foot you pay for other big brands like Trimlight, Jellyfish and Oleo.
