    I'd have ZZP check the AFR. It's swinging up a bit high at idle, unless you have a bad, or soon to be bad, primary O2 sensor.

      Its been data loged and tuned since then. This was on a base tune. I thought so too though.

    So excited I ordered this turbo last night. Apparently they have fixed the oil issue. If not. How hard is it to install that restrictor once everything is back together. Would hate to have a crazy hard time once the motor is back inside. You drove around fine on a base tune? I have my ko4 tuned to 25psi rn so I was hoping I could limp the car up to my guy who tunes for me. About 45 min drive.

      Oil restrictor is super easy to install, just take the oil feed line which regularly screws into the top of the turbo and instead connent oil feed line to restrictor, then to turbo. Hopefully they did fix the issue though, if you need any help just hmu on IG. Username is the same

    I have a 2009 cobalt lt automatic and would love to completely modify everything from the suspension to the engine but would probably take a lifetime considering the cost. Would probably be cheaper to just find and buy an ss cobalt

      Yes. The 2.2 and the automatic won’t hold up well. The 2.2 can really only hold like 250hp before you need new rods and pistons.

    Did you have any issue with the z57 having to run a oil restricter? Heard alot of people having issues burning oil due to the z57

      yes I had to buy an oil restrictor because the one zzp gave me unfortunately did not work. I ended up going with a restrictor from Forced Performance. If you google "FP Oil Restrictor" and then go to their site, it will be the purple one. Seemed to completely fix the excessive smoke my car was producing. The Z57 turbo needs to just come with it. idk why it does not.

    for the intercooler, did you get the standard or smaller size. Trying to decide. Zoe’s the standard allow you to still put your front bumper back on?

      I have a hahn intercooler, im pretty sure they only sell one size. It looks pretty standard. But yeah it doesnt even get in the way. Its tucked behind the crash bar.

      400whp according to Matt at ZZP. I havent dyno'd it so I can't give exact numbers. Just 93 Octane

      Maybe like 1800-1900$ without opel injectors, 2200$ with injectors. Pretty cheap for the power levels

    Sounds great. Zzp has a 6” and 18” option. Says 6” is for LNF, is that what you chose?

      i believe the 6" one is the lighter spring. It is to be used with the vacuum box/stock setup. I'm running the larger 18'' spring atm with a small amount of the spring shortened(cut) and my bpv line goes from bov directly to manifold. When I bought my 50mm bov though from zzp they gave me both springs so hopefully the same for you. Then you can play around and see what sounds best to your liking.

    Hey man, I got a 2010 LNF I'm trying to get this flutter out of. I'm fairly new to this, so if I understand correctly, you buy the treadstone block off plate - and then you need a BOV along with this? I've purchased the HKS SQV IV.

      I used a block off plate with my bov, but I think you can rig up the stock bpv to not function, so it would be exactly like a block off plate. either way stock bpv needs to be disabled so you can run an aftermarket bov. If you want more flutter then stiffer spring in your bov, less flutter and more swishh sound then lighter spring in your bov. Just gotta kinda play around with the bov springs. Dont want to stiff of a spring though. Mine would only flutter between 1-4psi. any higher than that and it opens completely and empties out pressure.

      @@reid_playz95 I realize this post is 7 months old. You can't change the spring pressure in a ssqv. It is an excellent bov that uses boost pressure to keep it sealed shut so no leaks. When I turned the boost up on my stock turbo I had to get a block off for the stock bpv or it would come open and bleed boost and sometimes flutter causing driveability issues. I had a greddy bov to start with and anything over 18psi it would do the same so I switched to a hks ssqv myself and loved it. Coincidentally I didn't think the stock ssqv was loud enough for my taste and designed a couple different inserts to make it louder which I now sell.

      @@chicano562 if you keep the stock bpv you might not need a tune but to block off the bpv and add a bov you will need to also relocate the maf to the lower charge pipe which will require a tune. If you have hp tuners and have ordered a tune from zzp before, then to get an updated tune emailed to you and then you can upload it with hp tuners and the tune is only like 50$

      Stock Ldk Long block, & Opel Injectors. Getting ready to do a cylinder head replacement though, my valve seals and head gasket are starting to go.

      @@ThatDudeArvai probably not, they only increase gas flow by 15%. 500whp and above probably would need, along with a handful of other fuel related parts.

    What spring? Mine flutters a lot but nit this much. Im using the ZZP BOV with the ZZP 18" spring "the harder one of the kit they include"

      so i shortened the spring little by little since their bov is non adjustable. In other words I cut one full circle around the spring by 1/4s until it was where I wanted it to be. didn't take removing much though so start removing small distances.

      Treadstone performance for the block off plate, total was $36.70. I also received both springs when I bought the zzp bov.

    How many miles are on the Z57? and no real pulls eh? Like 40-100 or 60-120...
    What kinds power does it make on pump gas?

      According to the techs at ZZP around 400 whp. And maybe 1000 miles on it now. And no not yet, I've been swapping out control arms, intermediate shaft, installing ksports, and an Nrg wing. So I've been a little pre occupied I will soon though.

      @@Lnf_Chris Firestone Firehawk Indy500s the best street tire period.
      If there warm you can almost dead hook in 2nd but will spin a tad.
      Solid billet poly zzp Transmount is amazing, I have gapped a fbo freektune golf R, 370/400 fbo tune focus RS, 2 scat pack 392 with 8spd and recently a hellcat. Have most runs on video will be posting most likely. 235 40 18 in the front perfect size for LNF wheels.

      My vacuum is setup correctly 😂 it's setup according to the diagram provided by ZZP in regards to their 50mm BOV I have installed The BOV comes with two springs, one lighter and one stiffer. The stiffer one is in and it will make those flutter noises until it hits about 4-5lb boost.

      K & N short intake with Hahn charge pipes. Cmae with my car but if I had to buy I would get the ZZP ones.

      Intake, intercooler, gms1, catless dp, opels, z57 turbo. It is not really that hard for the z57, with the right supporting mods to easily make over 500whp.

      @@Lnf_Chris Nice! I have an LHU FBO Z54, the used Z54 i purchased seems to be junk and is pushing 23.5psi on 95% Wastegate duty cycle. I'm thinking of purchasing a brand new Z57 soon, shooting for 400. Hopefully my rods can handle it!!! Also who are you tuned by?

      Nope, I got a new f35 trans about 2 years ago though. Still holding strong. I also use the oem pressure plate/disc/flywheel as I've heard its easier on your transmission.

      Yes, it has a stronger spring in it. It only flutters from like 1-3 psi, anything over and the Bov will release all pressure.
