I kissed the boy who was kind to me who was bullied by others, because now he had something to hold over the bullies. He was only a grade younger than me, and really struggling socially. He asked to kiss me, and out of all the boys that have, I kissed him because I knew it would help him and he wouldn't shame me behind my back. He was already being humiliated daily for his weight and other things- even if I wanted to reject him, I wouldn't have done it in front of the other kids. What that young woman did was completely cruel and unnecessary. We don't owe kisses to anyone, but we sure as hell don't have to be cruel about it.
