Great tune. My gf at the time bought me this album before she emigrated to Australia. I was 16, Joanne was 14. Fab memories. I still have this vinyl album and it still sounds excellent. Thanks Boltz. :)
Mind-blowing! There are videos on youtube of the Vincent, Boltz, Ric Parnell, Chris Farlowe 'Rooster doing this song....45+ years ago!!!! Pete French sang the recorded version on the 'In hearing of' album from 1971!!
Very nice arrangement and playing, and with Pete's seemingly timeless vocals this is frickin' great! I'd like to think that somewhere Vincent, John, and Paul are smiling...
Saw you at Belladrum near Inverness stayed 1 night tent collapsed only came to see you. Slept under a tree outside site left next day. My 1st single I bought devils answer 62 now! If covid ever stops hope to see you guys again!
These videos on UA-cam from their concerts are a great surprise for me because I thought they are already not . I ever had a Longplay named " Atomic Rooster - Death walks behind you ". They are fantastic . I would like anybody greet them from me from Poland. I dream to see them in Poland in my town. I love them
@@alexborodin , with regret, I must agree with you, buddy 🙂This all has turned totally ragool 😞I just wrote it for the sake of wordplay -- not because i am a ragool myself . Cheers, buddy!
El teclista (q.e.p.d.) estaría orgulloso de esta versión, saludos desde mexico, podria venir algun dia steve boltz a Mexico con su banda, conozco algunos fanaticos de atomic rooster aca en mexico
@@rosaceusborgogne5517 Pete French recorded vocals on the whole In Hearing Of album, except if I remember right, Vincent sang Black Snake. Pete French toured all over the world with Atomic Rooster and went on to sing in Cactus after that and also sang in Leafhound. This is the guy you want to hear singing this song.
You are So knowledgeable...thanks for bringing this to our attention..obviously we are doing this ...playing Vince's songs with the full blessing of his widow...as purely a money making exercise.Have a lovely day X
you can have the blessing of anybody you like, I`m afraid this is a cheap cash-in on the "atomic rooster" trade-mark any way you look at it: both vincent and steve are long gone, so talk about flogging a dead horse!
Bought "Death Walks Behind You" in the 70's & still play it. Great Band, was blessed to be a teenager in the 70's, so many great bands.
RIP Vincent, genius who became a legend!
Nice to hear Pete again. Love this album.
Hugs From Brazil to ALL!

Still superb. Loved these guys when I was younger and still do. Great performance.
Keep this music alive forever! RIP Vincent. There's no reason why Peter French shouldn't play this. Rock on!
Amazing! Two roosters are there, namely Pete and Steve.
Pete's vocal is still outstanding on now and Steve's guitar playing is much better than 70's.

One of my favourite Rooster's song! Great show! Greetings from the "Kozmik One" :)

Saw these guys in the Eel Pie Club earlier this year. What a night, what a band!
Now, THIS is real gold on the internet.
This was fantastic! Great to see Pete and Steve playing together, and sounding incredible. Thank you for this!

Where's the sandwich eating dude at?!?!??? He was really so good! 😎👍
Chris Farlowe. He's still going strong.
@@rosaceusborgogne5517 also French is an original member

This is a really fantastic effort, but for me it just ain't the same without goofy-ol' Chris Farlowe!
Brian McKown - it was actually Pete French who sang this originally.
Yeah... I've just always preferred Farlow's take on it.
@@bpmc9935 Preferred a goofy rendition to the original? Pete sounds really good here, especially for his age.
I like both versions & Pete French in cactus was great
Не тянет . Басков.
Vincent Crane are not present, why bother!
Because he would want his music heard....this is not a money exercise, believe me pal!
The Guy is dead, you fool!
His widow is not, you plank!
...anyway,what has it it to do with you? We're having a blast doing it! x

no vincent crane, no atomic rooster: simple as that.

sorry, that was of course "john (du) cann", not "steve".
Phew - glad I’m still here - thanks x
indeed! my apologies, I guess I got a bit swept up in the moment, as it were.
This is NOT Chris Farlowe, and the Keys are pathetic!
This is Pete French
The original track with Chris Farlowe and Vincent Crane and other band members was superb, this is only a joke
This is not Atomic Rooster
We played a few shows with Atomic Rooster when Chris Farlowe was the singer. He is (at least) was an asshole.
Why?
