Cat on a Hot Tin Roof...the list is endless. The man was amazing. A real philanthropist and a real artist. His wife is an amazing talent too. RIP!! I am sad that there will be no new performances by you for me to watch, but thank you for leaving so many amazing ones behind.
LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! PAUL NEWMAN WAS SO AMAZING . AS BEAUTIFUL AS WE WAS HIS TALENT SURPASSED HIS UNGODLY BEAUTY AND PRESENCE. NOTHING LIKE PAUL IN A WILLIAMS WORK. GERALDINE BURNED THIS SHIT DOOOWN! EVERYONE GAVE A TOUR DE FORCE PERFORMANCE. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THIS MOVIE. I LOVE WATCHING ANYHING WITH PAUL NEWMAM . ON THE TERRACE( EIT HIS WIFE),SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME, HUD, COOL HAND LOOK< THE COLOR OF MONEY, THE HUSTLE,BUTCH CASSIDY, THE PHILIDELPHIANS,etc...
What a slick and enjoyable movie! Okay, they had to give it a happy ending and eliminate Chance getting castrated. Leave it for the theater, the performances here are so great it's hard to want the "true" ending. Geraldine Page is sensational. Her telephone scene alone is some of the best acting on screen, and she does it in terms of her character; she doesn't just "ACT." And Paul Newman was quite a piece, himself, wasn't he? Well, from the waist up he was gorgeous. (Bird legs)
Yeah, his legs look pretty good to me. We all can't be perfect. I like someone who has a little character. Who the hell cared that he had skinny legs. I never thought so. Paul Newman was irresistible. He was DAMN tough enuff. What's your handicap?
Wish they'd do a remake of this that SHOWED everything that Saxophone and those Drums were SUGGESTING. It might be banned in theatres, but sure would sell like crazy on DVD.

His wife was the late Joanne Woodward.
Paul Newman was the star here. Of course Geraldine Page was fantastic. Great actor indeed. Loved the ending.
Ah, dear Paul Newman; always playing the irresistible scoundrel.
this is the best movie i've ever seen ! and i mean it !
Me too! When they got that Saxophone going, you KNEW there was somethin' nasty gonin' on!
I see Paul Newman as sexy, not nasty. Go wash your nasty mouth out. FYI, Paul Newman hated women with dirty mouths.
We're performing the play on a class I have in college.. and I'm playing the Princess..she is fun to play..
Damn! GP should have won the Oscar for this stunning performance.
At least she was nominated.
I agree!

NO need in getting down right vulgar. The imagination is the great baiter. The tease of something.
Paul was only 2 months younger than Geraldine (who was only 37 years old).
can you please uplaoad more on Heavenly, i need to see how she speaks, and i cant find anything else. (:
The film is waaaaaaaaaay more sophisticated than this cheezy trailer. Thanks for putting it up, though. Nice to see what people were shown back then.
@heeter71 - Like the ending. Yeah, in the play, Chance gets something a bit worse than a broken nose.
yummy :)
Shirley Knight now plays fat old harpies on the Law and Order series(s).
