      They are like on the bridge in between super car and hyper car. Some consider it a super car, in which case it is top of the class, will some call it a hyper car, in which it kind of under performs in that class but is still great. But it's my favorite car so...

    Call this sacrilege, but the SVJ is almost like the Viper ACR in a way. Last of the line for its model, and goes out with a super track focused, driver focused, respect demanding bang.

    • @porschecollector727
      @porschecollector727 6 років тому +18

      Michael Gann lol. ACR is a proper track weapon. This is so a lambo owner can pose and say he has the most track focused lambo. I never see aventadors at track days. It's a heavy pig that overheats, eats its pad and tires unevenly and will go into limp mode after two laps.
      Marketing gimmick to sell more cars

      @@porschecollector727 the Ring number doesn't lie. Maybe that's what owners will do, just brag about it. As far as over heating goes, I pretty sure Lamborghini has that beaten with this car. They've definitely put science into it to avoid, with Audi's help of course.

    Always like it when Matt reviews more down to earth plebian cars that us regular folk would drive. But it's also cool to see him get into some of those high dollar rides that are just insane. Never been a fan of the Aventador for whatever reason, but the SVJ looks like it's got the proper goods, specially after watching it being thrashed around the Nurburgring. Dude who drove that car had balls the size of the moon. Unreal how fast that thing managed to go. I mean he was driving that thing like they were going to give him a free one if he beat the best time.

    *I'm so sad that all the natural motors or naturally aspirated engines are disappearing slowly through the years*
    Sure they are slow (and deemed more polluting although turbos bypass tests unrealistically and is also polluting..), but they are just symphonies filled with passion. Unlike dull factory turbo cars these days and all sound very monotoned with at most 2 pitch/notes to progress from. Sure they are loud due to better tinkering from sound departments (more like trying to compensate) but singing louder doesn't make you sing more beautifully.

    • @eaglefat9398
      @eaglefat9398 6 років тому +1

      Slow? N/A is only slow for its power when they try to squeak to far past 100hp/L and no longer have that neck snapping instant torque that a 8.4L would have and turbo only cheat emission in actual real world use they burn more gas because then need to run richer to avoid knock and heat soak.

    • @ZDY66666
      @ZDY66666 6 років тому +2

      @@eaglefat9398 you're just nitpicking. If you look at current market products, all motor cars performance cars such as the performance or GT4 and 3 has considerably less power performance than turbo vehicles like 570s or 720s..
      Obviously a car like this SVJ is still butt crap fast, but in speaking from a general product offering perspective. If you want to nitpick by all means.
      I never said turbo was realistically less polluting, but our government mandates the market to meet stupid figures and tests. I can't control it so don't direct that problem towards me. Even if turbo are more polluting, society and government currently doesn't seem it so.

      Yes. And also the incredibly loud start-up sound.
      Fine to be loud at 7000 revs; you look a fanny going through town at 2000 revs with your 'sports exhaust' bellowing away. (that's the British version of fanny)
