My brother was similar, he started wrestling at 8 and was just so much bigger, stronger, faster than everone else (8-10yo) he got moved up to the next age bracket 10-12 BUT considering we lived in a small town every one was 12 so my brother was wrestling people who matched him physically but had 3+ years of experince and dominated him he quit after the season ended in frustration
