Mark is a freaking legend bro his 2011 run was goated
2011 to 2013 was Mark Henry at the peak of his career.
I met him in Lexington, KY, in 2023. He was one of the most genuine & nicest "celebrities" I've ever come across. I'll always be a fan.
What a sweet guy. Every time I hear Henry speak or anyone speak about him, I just keep liking him more and more
I love the way he acted like the bad guy all the time but deep inside he’s a real person with a lot of heart
He just loves wrestling. The fact that he actually made a real contribution to something he loves so much is what moved him.
Mark is underrated asf let's be fr
At least he won world heavyweight champion, and Hall of Pain gimmick is damn good
i usd to play him all the time in old ww games...he was a beast
Mark Henry seems like the realest guy in every room he steps in. Sure, there are a lot of guys in the business who are eloquent, the best in ring talent, or whatever. Mark Henry is very smart, can cut a promo and can put on a good match, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. Gotta appreciate a real one like this.
Mark Henry will NEVER be forgotten
Did not realize this was a mark creation. Awesome
This is like those awkward Mike Tyson interviews where he randomly starts crying and you don’t know if you should say anything because you don’t want to die
After he explained, I 100% understood though
Mark is not as vicious or aggressive as Tyson
This man was quality all the way around. Always respected the man for being one of the big guys in the ring. We made it works so well.
Mark Henry is an absolute Icon of Wrestling
And I am so damn thankful for having been able to enjoy it for years and years
Mark Henry has always been among my faves. He always just seems to have such a heart outside of the ring
I'm proud that I got to see Mark Henry in his prime. He was an absolute superstar and is an absolute legend.
I always liked this dude , I stopped watching wrestling before he was in it but he always seems genuine in interviews
He is and forever will one favorites in wrestling. It was fun watching him. Mark Henry thank you for you proformance.
i'm from Corsicana, Texas and met Mark during a field trip to Dallas back in 4th grade. he was so damn cool! he picked up multiple of us on both arms and swung us around snd gave us hugs! gave me an amazing memory both on and off the screen and gave me a story i cherish 🙏🏾
Mark was in the business for decades and influenced so much talent everywhere that I lost count how many people look up to this great man
There's got to be mixed emotions when you realize that you're angry cuz people are stealing your shit, but you're humbled by the fact that something you created made such a huge impact.
Mark Henry has to be the most under appreciated wrestler of all time but has done so much for wrestling
❤ initially thought he was going to say something selfish and be all ‘they all stole my spot’ but he’s just proud to have left his mark in the sport.
Thank you Mark Henry
I thought it was going to be his retirement swerve 2.0 lol!
I think it's more he feels it should be named after him. Which I think is completely fair.
@@squiddwizzard8850nah literally said a lotta people don't create something and he hit a spot that caught on and had never been seen before him leaving a legacy on such a decorated roster of superstars with a long history of innovation
@@braedonbakken2460 I completely misinterpreted what he meant. Thank you.
I guess it shows how sadly humility is underrated and underappreciated
He knew he would be remembered 🥲
I think he was more worried he wouldnt be remembered as the guy who created that spot
Mark Henry is such a great man! He deserves recognition *now that he is a living legend* and then forever after.
He did so much for professional wrestling!
Thank you very much for all those years and decades of effort and incredible performances, Mark
Mark Henry deserves all the flowers in the world for his contributions in the ring 💐👏🏾
These interviews made me appreciate Mark way more than I did when he was still wrestling... he's awesome
MUCH LOVE N RESPECT MARK HENRY! Watching anotha big brotha like myself as a big kid gave me power and the strength to stand up for myself growing up. Thank u for all them years! ✊🏾❤🙏🏾🫡
Mark Henry was an absolute Power House!! Thanks for the childhood memories, LEGEND
Met this guy when I was a little kid at a barbeque restaurant in San antonio Tx, super humble guy.
Mark Henry really is a legend in every sense of the word, what a career!
It makes sense too. He made history in WWE in the 90s with his strength alone. I can only imagine how It feels to look back on your prime and wish you could have 1 more go around and it to be 1999 again
I appreciate you Mark Henry. You were part of multiple WWF/E eras. Older mark henry was even more dangerous.
One of the most underrated talents to ever hit wrestling
I was born in 2001
I'm watching wrestling since childhood and i was so afraid of mark Henry and Kane.I had many nightmares that mark hendy is chasing me to kill me,when i grew up a little the year was 2015 i became a huge fan of his because i understood the behind the scenes.I was rooting for henry but he lost every single matches and that just broke my heart. Then i realized what he was doing,he was putting over younger talent. This guy is a freaking legend.
loved your story
He comes from nothing you can tell and doesn’t forget where he came from. God bless him
