Just a FYI for you Dan and anyone else who knows nothing about fishing line. Basic fishing line is monofilament. (there are various other types some of which are stronger for the same diameter). I and friends have landed carp of 15Lb plus on 4 Lb line. As long as it's a slow pull any line will pull a hell of a lot more than its 'test' rating. The girl being dragged was pulled by maybe only 40Lb line (she's not a big built gal). 40Lb line is around .5 or.6 of a millimeter thick! Diolch dan.

Thanks for doing the Ghost Hunters/TAPS clip, I saw that episode when it aired, and even then the fact that I could see that white bit as it turned, always bothered me, because, like you said, it looks like there's a foot there! Now back then I just figured whoever was doing that part, was wearing white or at least a light coloured pants and shoes! Now I feel vindicated!

15:15 There are a few of these around the site of the big battles in the US but this one in particular I read someone's account of visiting the area - in particular one of the activities that took place on that spot, was Horse Riding. It would often be dusk or evening time but the riders carried lanterns whilst slowly navigating the narrow woodland paths. From this viewers perspective, this does look sinister but knowing the little detail of the horse riding expeditions, it's not quite so dark!
Nuke released a tiktok only scary video XD would say you need to debunk the video but it would just be you holding the ''utter bollocks'' board XD

He's not pushing with his arm he's trying to find a hold, and his foot does come off the ground while he's being lifted. I doubt he jumped from that angle that far up.
I don't know if 2021 was the worst... Nothing will quite reach 2020 lows. But it wasn't exactly the best either. I suspect 2022 won't be much better.
2 things.... 1. I want that top!!! 2. It makes a change to see a channel in which the cam isn't showing a mirror image...as in...where everything is seen in reverse of what it actually is. Casing point....your tee shirt designs are always the right way round. I guess when people use their phones to film, the vids always turn out that way....either that or they're just using not great cameras. Nevermind..moving on.......😄
“Case in point”, just fyi.
FYI, when Jason and Patrick were filming together, Patrick always did all the editing alone. After it came out with definite proof that Patrick sometimes faked footage and you go back and look at all his footage, it becomes obvious just from all the “did you hear that?” and “I just got touched” and especially “I just saw something” that Patrick says and Jason keeps saying no, nothing happened to him and he saw and heard nothing. At first you believe Patrick is sensitive and he claims to get it from his mom who joins some of the investigations. But after Waverly when the security cameras caught Patrick throwing a ball at Jason while he was doing the Estes method, it was over for me. Jason has his own site now called The Cemetery Road where mainly he walks around cemeteries but sometimes does investigations with his son or Weeping Willow and Doof Doof and they all do their own editing. Besides, Patrick uses an sls camera that he moves around a lot and phone apps which are both utter bollocks, lol

Hi Mr Grey. The video of the horses reminded me of another video which is quite similar. It's like white misty deer jumping over a fence but then they kinda just disappear. I wonder if you've seen this? I think it was on Nukes a while back. Would like to hear your opinion on that 👌🏽✌🏽

Again another great debunking with science but also with amazingly amazing good humor. I use 80 lbs fishing line to repair ACL ruptures in dogs preferably under 80 lbs and above 60 lbs, because that is the next size line. BTW, I’m not too far from Gettysburg, if I have a day to waste I’ll go to catch myself a ghost. BTW, I have been at Pennhurst asylum, amazing place, however no ghost in the hundreds of pictures I took. BTW, I wonder, I wonder, why there aren’t so many ghosts vids from Waterloo battle, at the end of the day they had also around 50K casualties? How about Stalingrad siege and battle? The estimates put it at 2.5 million deaths. In Leningrad 5.5 million deaths in 3 years, Berlin 1.2 million deaths, and so on. Oh wait, that’s because only Americans have souls. Oh $#it!!! Right spot on, almost all of these videos have been debunked, the white horse video was obvious, I think using the strings are just as boring as using the pale white oriental woman with long hair over her face, almost 98% of them are in the same white jammies some clean others look like they just crawled out of a dumpster, all standing in the same position, some float up, some float down, all of of them are not scary, I do think using a black silhouette cut out of a child in at least 4 videos is getting old, I'm not saying weird things don't happen, but not as often as they are being videoed, you should only watch the ones that are done very well, for entertainment purposes, the others are garbage designed for click and views, Tic=toc is a joke.
I was watching TAPS from the beginning. It got boring after a few seasons. And the footage always seemed odd. It's obvious it's a person but why would they think this would be believable?? And it is sped up. I stopped watching all paranormal shows bc of Mr. Grey and The Shape. 👍
I didn't buy the first debunk or opinion on Gettysburg but this one is possible. I don't buy it. I'd hope the people recording it they'd hear the horses let alone know it's a horse trail. Still great job.

There is more to the story about that hanging ghost photo. There is a website where one of the 2 brothers from the photo appeared and said that it’s fake, but then a book about this photo was published on 2016 where an author told that he is one of those Copper brothers. It turned out that the author is one of 2 brothers and that the family name is not Cooper or Copper, his name is Richard Ramsdell. So he made a book, deliberately acting like all those rumours around this photo is real. All this to earn some money. The picture he made by himself back in 1981 for some ARG, and probably in the late 90’s or in the early 2000’s he had his website where this and other photos were put. Somebody took this photo from there and published elsewhere, creating some fake story about the Cooper Family ghost. I have bought this book and there is the same photo without any ghost. I can share it if anybody wants to see it, and the case is closed - it’s fake and it’s faked by one of the brothers himself.

If all these Sites/Channels have an issue with your analysis, you should say when debunking these, that the channels/sites can send you the ORIGINAL video. If in your analysis, after you see the original video, you determine you made a mistake (which is VERY unlikely) you will apologize or adjust your comments. I expect you will get ZERO original videos from ANY of these channels, but it's a way they can attempt to change your mind.
I don't think he's moving himself with his foot. It looks like he's trying to get traction. And being moved around. Imagine laying on your back left knee bent up with your foot on the ground, the other leg straight. I pull you to your right by your arm. Your left foots going to remain where it is as you move in the opposite direction, and it will kinda look like your pushing with that foot but you wouldnt be. That's what I see there.
Also when you say he's using his core to push himself up you see his left heel leave the ground leaving his toes barely contacting the ground, sideways. I don't see him getting enough leverage to push his entire core and right leg straight up off of the side of his left toes.
i think these paranormal channels that lie and say their content is real in order to collect money and sympathy from people deserve every foul comment they get. What they are doing is wrong and very shady.
41:10 I'm a bit late to this video but I thought I'd throw my analysis out there anyway for this particular clip. For the record, I watch these clips with as little bias as possible because the rules still apply. The Sagan Standard should always be considered. This clip is, by far, the only paranormal video I've ever seen that lends some sort of credibility to it's authenticity. Not just because of the clips contents, but because the ghost demonstrates particular demonic behavior that triggers a genuine fear response in some people. Through conversation with an individual who has historically had experiences with some sort of demonic presence, I've learned that this clip is dead on in terms of veracity. Does that mean the clip is real? No, it does not. Either these guys did there homework (which I don't doubt), or this is a very rare clip of actual paranormal footage.
I happen to side with skeptics on this just because the clip itself proves nothing. I do have an opinion about the breakdown in this video though. The clip itself is extremely pixelated and riddled with artifacts. It's damn near impossible to differentiate one thing from another when zooming in. Given that fact, the only thing left to analyze the apparition itself is a tactic used by most modern ghost hunters. Suggestion. A perfect example is EVP. Audio is played while text is displayed on the screen. Once you read the text, you hear the words. One thing you pointed out is the hanging cloth moving when the ghost moves away. I didn't really see the cloth move at all other than the artifacting, so I'd say it's a bit of a stretch to point that out as the result of a person walking past it. As for the ghost, I can see where this might be an actual person cloaked in black. However, the subtle shadows of the cloak seem too well defined to even be realistic. Which is weird because claiming that this clip has been digitally manipulated is unrealistic given the year it was shot. The cloak almost looks like a vale of black smoke, which is even more confusing. That said, it all just boils down to interpretation.
As always, you do a great job breaking down these videos with raw logic scientific clarity and I love watching them. Keep up the great work man.
