    I’m always amazed that people cannot use deductive reasoning and immediate assume that what they heard or saw was paranormal.

      I remember my friend from high school telling me she went on a walk at night and saw a werewolf and then described in detail.....a coyote.
      And I was like "So a coyote?"
      And then she got mad at me because I didn't believe she saw a werewolf

      ☘️🍀 Hey Dandolf 😂
      What really annoys & pisses me off to no end is WHY these “ghost/paranormal hunters” use the SMALLEST & narrowest flashlight 🔦 beam EVER ⁉️⁉️. Manufacturers have advertised FOR YEARS flashlights that have a huge radius & extra bright light that is capable of lighting up a massive amount of area where virtually NOTHING can hide from (I’ve seen these annunciated on TV & social media EVERYWHERE 😂
      ANOTHER thing that I can’t get over is WHY doesn’t your channel have over a thousand subs by now ⁉️⁉️😠😡🤬🤯🤨😩

    I like this format - the Wheel of Creepy Things works well and gives a nice variety of videos. I think it's always skinwalkers because skinwalkers are "in" right now. There's always something going viral and other people are always trying to ride that wave to get more clicks. A while back I remember the Goatman was really trendy, and I think after that it was the Dybbuk Box (before the creator of the original story came out and said it was all fake). Recently it seems like everyone has a demon in their house. I think 75% of the paranormal community, on UA-cam or on the Travel Channel or whatever else, is just people chasing pop culture trends and perpetuating them that way.

    Oh my god thank you. I thought I was going crazy with how every single thing that makes a noise outside is now a skinwalker. Remember when it used to be The Rake? Whatever happened to that guy?

    • @twiztedmind209
      @twiztedmind209 7 місяців тому

      Trends. It's just all trends. Hence why those people do the contacting dead people right after they die, why it's always the same few monsters and clips. The list makers use clips to earn them views, and people make clips to go viral. It's a feedback loop. And the rake going out of fashion is like slender man. So many people have covered the creation of the rake and where he came from that it's just not scary. But these ancient folklore creatures can't be debunked like that, and they're a lot more widespread so things like the wendigo and skinwalker most likely won't just vanish

    • @ivaneames4354
      @ivaneames4354 6 місяців тому

      I imagine lots of people are finally getting the message that the Rake was a fairly recent made up internet creepypasta and is not a "real/legitimate" mythological creature. They realised that they would immediately get ripped apart if they made that claim so they have had to think up something different.

    I've just subbed because of the intro (hilariously well done), but these videos, more often than not, have a VERY easy answer as to why those thing happen, but as of late I've come to find more and more people online that prefers things to be of supernatural origin instead of having something that can be explained with a teeny tiny logic. Which begs the question: are we THAT bored with our existence, that instead of debunking things to differentiate them from the real thing (given that supernatural stuff do exist), we just jump at the first thing without even try it????? The answer is yes. Many people just want to believe, and that's so sad. I'm a believer in the paranormal, there are things that can't be explained, but usually all the "ghost" sights have a very much human nature backstory. Not to mention: weird dark shadows (humans out of a light source, physics at its best but people are too ignorant to even think about it); weird figures and patterns on surfaces (again, physics, light, the pass of time); and my all time favorite, the "oh, oh, I saw this and that and it's a ghost, a skinwalker, a you-name-it", which is nothing more than **drumroll** PAREIDOLIA!!!!
    Oh, well, everything is debunkable, but if they did it, all these so called paranormal hunters would be out of work

    • @user-mm4nq3xi8l
      @user-mm4nq3xi8l 7 місяців тому +2

      I highly concur with everything you said‼️🤣. This has been my thought process also since I started watching these types of videos many years ago. The thing that truly gives it away is that these OPs RARELY try to find a logical solution, or use critical thinking (like Dan & Goosebumps) to find out the truth of the source really is. Call authorities ⁉️. NEVER seen any channel do that.
      And you’re SPOT ON saying that if they do any of those things, they’ll lose their precious income derived by lies, deceit & immortality🤬

    10:20 on the plate. I've had that happen to me before. Literally, I remember sitting with my dad once and us both watching as the empty bowl I set down slide halfway across the table. Checked underneath and, yep, water. It even left a trail of water vapor on the table as it moved. Funny thing is, I think I even remember joking that it must have been the ghost of the miso soup. I picked it up, set it back down in front of me and it wandered off again though not as far the second time. Its a fairly common phenomena in cheap restaurants particularly, as I understand. The dishware tends to be on the cheaper (IE, lighter) side, the tables are smooth because its just vinyl , if the dishes just came out of the dishwasher they'll still be a bit damp.
    I dunno, I just think its more likely that the waiter forgot to completely dry a plate then a ghost decided to nudge it around for some reason. Its actually pretty ridiculous just how credulous some people are. Like those eyes in the dark? He sweeps his flashlight over the area where the "eyes" are, and while its hard to see because of the branches/boards in the way, I can't see the shape of a head at all. And that's ignoring the matter of the "eyes" seeming to produce their own light.

    I was camping with some friends in a State Forest in NYS when around dark, we heard strange sounds coming from deep in the woods. Howling and screeching accompanied by a deep booming noise. We went to see what it was and as we got closer could see lights flashing different colors, lighting up the trees, and the weird howling sounds got louder. We crept closer and when we were about 300yds away we were able to see... about 150 High School kids had dragged a generator, 3 kegs of beer, lights that could have come from Studio 54 and a DJ set up to a clearing in the woods and were having a rager! The beer was cheap but, we stayed for a few! Always check out strange noises! You never know!

    Great intro! Yeh about that sliding saucer on the table, as I understand it, it happens when both the object and surface are very smooth, there’s a bit of moisture inbetween them, and there’s a pocket of air trapped beneath. Add a temperature change and voila.
    You can demonstrate this by setting up an appropriate cold cup on a very slightly inclined smooth damp cold surface (wipe it down, like a waiter would) then pouring hot water into it, what happens is the trapped air underneath expands and as it pushes out between the gap, the cup behaves like a crap hovercraft on the thin film of moisture.

    Im 34, and when i was a teenager, i had 2 experiences with what i believe to be a Kooshdakhaa, which is basically a native alaskan SW. I had no clue what a SW was at the time, i just knew you werent supposed to say Kooshdakhaa while youre in the woods. I was a dumb teenager and kept saying it when i was with my friends and stuff. Then on 2 seperate nights, i was at the edge of the woods alone, when i heard the craziest cries ive ever heard (i heard it both times, but not before or since) and i started getting freaked out. Then the crying stopped abruptly, and they said my name (Brigida, my name isnt sarah or becky or something😂), but it didnt sound like a voice a human could make. It was SO quiet like it was whispering in my ear, then it would suddenly sound like it was a half mile away, and screaming. It was super weird, and i ran home/to my friends house (my best friends family took me in for a couple years, around 13-15/16) and told them what happened, and they all said it sounded like the Kooshdakhaa, and they told me more about them. Im white, but my best friend is native, so her family knew a lot of stories about them.
    This was in the early 2000s, before any of my friends even had cell phones. Those are the only two times in my life where ive experienced something that i 100% believe was paranormal. If i caught it on camera, i wouldnt believe it though😂 one of my best friends could tell me my exact story, and i probably wouldn't believe them, ngl😂😂 i wish there was an explanation for what i heard, but the crying sounds and the voice just didnt sound human like at all, but it also didnt sound like something that couldve come from a speaker or something. Theres also no animals that couldve made those sounds, i know the sounds of all the animals in the area, and what i heard couldnt have come from any known animal in the area. Maybe theres some sort of bird or something thats undiscovered, but i honestly dont think thats the case. I dont expect anyone to believe my story, (tbh id be concerned if someone did just take my word. Yall dont know me😂) but i just felt like sharing.

    I didn't realize there were three of you "Mr. Grey"s. That explains much but also brings up questions. The main question I want answered is: which Grey bother does the Ghost of Vlad the Impaler's Ex Missus prefer?

    Extra Skinwalker debunk info: Skinwalker is Navajo. The Navajo are from the SW US. Appalachia is in the SE of the US. They're opposite sides of the country. THOUSANDS of miles. People outside of the US often don't realize just how big the US is and how far apart things are.

    I love watching paranormal videos for fun. You getting startled made the video even better. I know they’re fake but I love it when one can actually startle me.

    I absolutely loved your intro. It was awesome. It’s always weird to me why most people don’t have common sense when it comes to something they think is paranormal . Some people are more gullible than others. Stay safe, and I will see you next video.

    Hi Dan. Just a thought on that last video...to me it almost looks like something falling off of the bottom of the car when he shuts the door, like mud, or possibly water or slush from the door itself. Anyway, great video. Stay safe.

    On that last one it looks almost like a can or ball fell out of the car door, and did like an arcing roll into the shadows and back out. Of course the clip cuts out so you can't see if the thing stays there or not..

    The video that irrationally angered me recently had a claim that the camera battery drained "perhaps because the ghost was trying to gain more energy to communicate".
    Okay, we're making a few major leaps here. Ghosts have enough substance to bridge a circuit? They are conductive? They are capacitive? Has someone captured ghosts and tested these hypothesis? I feel like I'd have heard something about that.
