Yeah I often do that, but this only had 40,000 miles on and my L200 9000 miles. That’s usually when someone been adjusting cable via lever rather than the shoes

The hand brake cable also stretches so don't you need to adjust the screw near the hand brake, Mitsubishi is about 7 clicks
