Just listened to it the other day because Portnoy himself recommended it. Loved it. All great songs. No fillers. I love Evergray and TesseracT and dream theater. The vocals are great too many bands have vocals that ruin the great perfect music. I highly recommend it.

A great album. Eric Gillette once again showing how incredibly underrated he is.

Great guitar player but would rather listen to John Petrucci as opposed to someone who is just imitating John Petrucci.

Always a thanks for these new product reviews. Brief listen of excerpts but certainly will be played through one or more times for more complete experience. Appreciate your comments as well as George Lamie chiming in his view on the board.

I kind of wonder if they will open for the newly reformed Dream Theater. Makes sense considering their ties with Portnoy.

For me personally, this was the prog album of the year for 2023. It's not one you get the first couple listens, but as you absorb the album over many listens it really reaches that next level prog.

I really love 'friendly fire'. Killer prog EDM instrumental. Overall the entire album is amazing.

Dear Pete this album 💿 really sounds nice 👍, but muy suggestion is you should check and review the last record War of Being from Tesseract , I am sure you will really love ❤️ it , they probably have achieve another high level to his legacy music 🎵, this put them on the orbit of one of the greatest Prog metal 🤘 of all time in my opinion , out of this world 🌍 album 💿, you will not be disappointed 😊

It is decent for me. I am not a real big fan of the vocals and feel like the musical part is great individually, but not the most cohesive album overall. Seems as though there was an equal full band committee to writing the music and it just didn't gel together. Look forward to more time and more releases though. Happy to see Diego making music still! I noticed his parts while listening quite a few times and was smiling.

Lol I heard they were already in Norway writing album #2 since summer of 2023. Diego is really serious about this project, so I hope they only keep improving. Great debut.

Maybe I should check out Evergrey? Not familiar with them. I think 4 out 5 is fair. I liked Katatonia's new album as well, which I think has a similar "moody" sound as you say.

    Eric Gillette. He’s good!!!!

Really didn't hear the evergrey sound. I heard more of a leprous, haken, dream theater and TesseracT combination

Not even on the vocals? That's where I hear it the most...and the moodiness of the arrangements.

I haven't heard Evergrey in it either. But we all hear things different . The vocalist reminds me of someone but I haven't figured it out yet.

I hear much more Leprous than Evergrey too, Evergrey didn't even cross my mind listening to it so I was surprised by Pete's comment

Great album! How can you go wrong with Petrucci Jr and Tejada? Would've liked to hear more Eric Gillette vocals though he's better than the guy he got. Still awesome though. Would love to see MP and DT take them on the road. MP already has a connection to both.

Are we talking about the same album here? Where do you hear Tesseract or Meshuggah? Is there any djent anywhere? After at least 30 plays I don't hear anything!
I rather hear AOR, hard rock, of course also DT and Haken, with latent "Leprous"-soundalike vocals. Speaking of AOR: "Skeletons" is massively reminiscent of Journey's "Separate Ways" at the beginning. Isn't that so?
The album is really good, as is the new "Whom Gods Destroy" album, but it's more of a shallow prog metal album than a Tesseract- and Meshuggah-deep sea trench.

I don't understand how the vocals remind you of Evergrey? I get there Tesseract or even maybe Leprous, but he doesn't sound anything like Tom.
