This album checks every box. Fantastic debut.
Takes about 3-5 spins to really "get" this album, but once you do, one of my favorite prog metal albums of the last 10-15 years!
Unless something else comes out , this is my album of the year, only album that i at least like every track, melody is the key for me and this has melody thriughout the whole album, great debut.

Cool, you got me curious about it. I had saved it on Spotify but hadn't checked it out. I saw that Portnoy promoted the band when this came out so I was also curious. Thanks for sharing!
I liked it on first listen. And it does get better each listen. I will note that if tou are hesotant due tonthe singles released, dont be. I like the other songs even more.
Definitely a grower for me, took about 4 spins, but by then I was hooked! Amazing record, and I'm super excited for whatever comes next!
Love this album
Not that the singles were bad, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this record, because they really saved the best stuff for the album. That three-hit punch of Skeletons - Acts of Violence - Friendly Fire is so good. There are lots of cool sounds on this record. The verses of Once More almost have a drum & bass pattern to the drums. Excited to see where these guys go.
