They're very cool and ice been surprised since posting this video how much love there is for them, as they seem to fly under the radar for a lot of ppl
Once again Simon another great instalment and focusing on a pretty neat little Bulova! Also saw one of the Hamilton Pulsars in the metal at Redbar Bristol and it’s build quality was superb. I think the GP is the cherry in this design category, but quite a bit more dosh!
Cheers Lawrence 🙏🙏 Agree that the GP would also be my pick if price was no consideration - I did notice that there's one of the Casquette 2.0s currently for sale on Ebay for £5k!
…first-time viewer new subscriber ! love Bulova design and they’ve had their hand in a number of tech innovations…but had not seen these new releases ! Wow beautifully done imo, esp attracted to limited-Ed which has a generally similar bracelet design to one i have fitted to a 1970 Accutron…of which the visible circuit-board is also alike…but live casual rubber-strap also…BUT, really have to agree re: annoying lack of always-on display or perhaps option of…!!!
Great vid Simon, and one cool watch but for me their steel and blue display looks the mutts and just pips it to the post and would be in my basket 👌🏻👍🏼
Thanks buddy 🙏 The metal bracelet versions are possibly a bit too retro for my tastes but the great thing about this hobby is that we don't all have to like the same stuff and there's plenty of choice to satisfy all tastes!
Most people not familiar with computron watches, think it is one of those sports watches so popular today with health conscious people. I purchased an Oura ring in order to be able to still wear my watches .
I've wanted a silver and blue computron since I first discovered them in 2019, but can't bring myself to buy knowing I'll have to press that button every time I want to use it. Real shame.
A watch review that reviews as well as educates. Wonderful.
I have a silver 2019 computron. Love it
So stylish. I get compliments everywhere I go

Awesome review and nice to see someone else interested in the in the history of LED. Have my CAVE edition incoming in the new year :)
Amazing review! I took your advice and got the Bulova Computron with strap 🎉
Thanks buddy and congrats on picking one up!

These look good but I have to say pressing the button to see the time is a real pain, I'd forgotten just what an irritation it was back in the day.

Welcome aboard James! Glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate the sub 🙏
I knooow, As you mentioned, one of my biggest downs to NOT get this watch was precisely the need of pressing that button to check the time.
I'd have liked to know if the green on strap and green line on top of phone are lit or just a bright paint and if it glows in dark etc
The line on the top of the case isn't illuminated - just paint. Neither are lumed.
@@Escapement24 it is a shame the limited edition one didn't have a green led to light the internals, that would be a decision maker for me.
Easy fix black blutak on the button it always stays on it did on mine
Whilst I appreciate the retro charm of pressing the button and the historical accuracy I’d only get one if it had an always on display.
i agree with the sensor idea!!! anyway, i just order one today 🎉
Congrats on picking one up!
Honestly I like every version but I think if I had to pick I’d pick the gold with red display 😊
That's probably the closest one to the original 👍
It should definitely keep the time on something like a screensaver

Great review couldn’t agree more about having to press the button as of now one arm people cannot purchase this watch😂

I'm proud to be a member of a species that is so amazingly primitive, that it still thinks digital watches, are a pretty neat idea.
I think this reference should henceforth be known as, "The Arthur Dent".
Free Dressing Gown with every purchase 🤔😉
Hello fellow hitch hiker.
I've wanted a silver and blue computron since I first discovered them in 2019, but can't bring myself to buy knowing I'll have to press that button every time I want to use it. Real shame.
A real shame. The display angle is perfect for driving position but no display.... thr psr model has always on leds and saphire crystal.
Beautiful watches! And do you remember Nirvana: "I'm so ugly, but that's okay, 'cause so are you."
I would buy these in a heartbeat if you didnt have to activate the screen, i understand it's a batterysaver but it kills it for me
Benly Stargazer is a much better version.
This dude loves his own voice. Watch review is about 3-4 min. Rest is him rambling on
Simon. First time watching you. You have to stop that zoom jump editing thing you do. Very irritating. Ruins your otherwise interesting video.
Ugly bold numbers and overlighted. Why not used thin like in 80s?
