I have been watching your videos for awhile. This month we where able to budget better and have included some of your casserolerecipes and we are making 30 dinners with 245$ in grocery and household this week. Also hubby gave up Tim Hortons every day and purchased a thermos to take coffee from home instead. Now Tim Hortons in an emergency stop if he works late. Thank you so... much !
our favorite is ham and scalloped potatoes. you can also dice the ham up for either a quiche or omelets. or breakfast casserole, I'm sure there are lots or recipes for casseroles on "just a pinch" or "Pinterest" Also for the bananas one of my favorite snacks is to cut them in slices and drizzle a small amount of either chocolate or peanut butter on them then freeze them. almost like a bite size popsicle, great for summer
We just pan sear ham steaks and serve them with green beans and homemade mac-n-cheese! It was a staple when I was growing up, so it's a nostalgic meal for me!
The Bulgogi looks great. I love the sun-dried apricots. We get ham every once and a while and it's a hit. I have a coconut paleta recipe that we make often all summer. Neat cooler/basket too. Fun haul!
That's awesome that you have a cart just for the kids! Definitely going to try the Veggie bites! Strawberry chocolate granola would be awesome on top of an Acai Bowl! Great haul!
I just started shopping at Aldi- I got two full, over-flowing shopping carts today for less than $280. CRAZY! The Grocery Outlet looks pretty good, too.
+Brooke Barrett Sorry, I was overloaded and had to cut some videos and unfortunately the plan with me video was one of the videos that I got the most grief from people about so it got cut.
Ham steaks are really yummy with fried pineapple on top, mashed potato on the side & a fried egg. You can fry the ham steaks in a non stick pan. Then remove & put on a plate covered with foil to keep them warm while you then fry the pineapple & egg using the same pan. Ketchup goes well with it as well. You must try it. The kids love it too! We are off to the Hunter Valley for a picnic this weekend . They have beautiful gardens there & it is wine country as well. We also just got a new car, so wanted to take it for a lovely drive . Have a great weekend! 😊💗
the love crunch is really good. that is an amzing price. it cost about $3 for the smaller size at target so I will have to go to Costco to get the bigger one.
Reading some of the other comments, I guess I am really lucky. I have an Aldi's about a mile away, a Sam's about 5 miles, and a Costco (which I don't have a card to) about 2-3 mlles away. In addition to: Stater Bros. Albertson's, Food 4 Less, Smart and Final, and there used to be a Grocery Outlet (not sure if its still there.). Actually there are several of some of these stores. Also have several Targets and Walmarts close to shop at. Yeah, I am incredibly lucky to not have to drive far to go grocery shopping.
I am in Buena Park, CA. About 2 miles from Knotts Berry Farm and 5 miles from Disneyland. Guess they don't call BP "Center of the Southland" for nothing. lol
I'm glad you and the kids were not around the angry guys. How scary! I second the ham and scalloped potato idea. Also, ham and biscuits for breakfast for dinner!
Love watching your haul videos :) Our fun weekend plans are to take our sons on a 3 hour train ride through a national park. My youngest will be 7 on Monday and he adores trains so we're going to celebrate his birthday on one :)
I usually get the bone in ham steaks at Sams, but I just put them in a baking dish and heat them up. Sere them with butter potatoes, and a vegetable. Or chop them up and make a ham and potato casserole. I also have a recipe for Tangy Ham Steak.
Hi Jennifer ! I love watching your videos. I love when you take us along shopping with you . It is so neat to see the different things offered at Costco. What kind of camera do you use ? Also what do you use to edit with ? Thanks for all the fun videos. I always look forward to watching them!
I haven't been to grocery outlet in years. I should give it a try. Love your Costco haul! Do you serve the veggie bites in a particular way? You could make a frittata with the ham steaks. 🙂
Hiiiiiii I missed your vlogs / videos we have been moving and tests have been going on actually a lot have been going on and a love your Micky mouse socks 😜💚 Btw summer vacation just started for me 🤗🤗
I live near a grocery outlet my favorite stores will be that one plus Safeway qfc wincos but that one is 25 minutes far out and my husband hate it but we use to get lots more food there then the other stores I applied grocery out I go for the snacks bread bagels is a win I always find bagels blueberry or regular peanut butter cheese and yogurt not so much the frozen stuff with the ham I will say add I on a plate of macaroni salad dice up yumm know I crave it
Great video! We gave an Aldi in my town but Costco is 45min away. :( I wish we had a grocery outlet. That picnic bag is cute! The ham steak is great cut up in cubes and added to an egg potato casserole or you can add it to a hash brown potatoe (funeral potatoes on pinterest) type casserole.
Those veggie bites intrigue me. Are they soy free? I cannot remember if you mentioned that. I need to check my Costco for those on my shopping day next Friday. Costco avocados are so hit or miss. They're either rocks or insta-soft. I am undecided on whether they're worth buying. LOL
Do you like going to different Grocery Outlets. We have 3 with in the same driving distance of us. (3 different cities) I have found they can be very different from each other.
Jennifer do you get all your socks there? they are cute my daughter says they are cute and she is also a fan of those books lol she saw that and she said what and then you said comment below if you are and she said I am
that is cool I've never heard of a place that you can get socks like that . I've always wanted to ask but to scared to my daughter loves socks like that.
the clothes for children are. less expensive at walmart. i seen a few of those same outfits for 8$ or 9$. i have a grand daughter so i keep an eye on the cute kids clothes. Do you have a Winnco grocery store in your area? they cheap too. i go get lots of food at Winnco. nice haul. i like looking at Costco hauls. im debating about buying a membership.
oh yah. the ham. i cook lima beans & ham in the crockpot. serve it with corn bread and fried potatoes and a side of cole slaw. healthy cheap meal. of you can dice up the ham and freeze it for other recipes. like omlets or whatever that calls for ham to flavor the dish.
They're not really spicy like buffalo sauce. They're similar tater tots, but instead of white potato, it has sweet potato and chunks of carrot and corn. I like them toasted until crispy, YUM!
Everytime we go to costco and my KIDS try the samples they tell me if they liked it or not and when they say YES they liked it i buy it.... but when we get home and i make it for them they rather have something else. 😑😑😑
I don't think u r missing much with aldi. The produce is not that fresh compared to Costco, Kroger and fresh thyme. Their mushrooms are soggy and not firm like ones sold else where. Produce, if not used quickly, gets bad. I prefer paying a bit more and get fresh produce from Costco, Kroger and fresh thyme. Meat at aldi always looks old and strange. Costco's fresh meat is the best. Shopping Costco and sale at other stores actually ends up costing us the same as if we buy stuff at aldi. I already tried that.
You can dice the ham steaks up and make scalloped potatoes with ham in it. So good

I fry the ham steak up, chop into bite side pieces. Make eggs, hashbrown, biscuits and bacon. Makes for a hearty breakfast for dinner meal.
Ham and pinto beans (crockpot) served with cornbread. It's a family favorite and it's a frugal meal with a bunch of leftovers.
our favorite is ham and scalloped potatoes. you can also dice the ham up for either a quiche or omelets. or breakfast casserole, I'm sure there are lots or recipes for casseroles on "just a pinch" or "Pinterest" Also for the bananas one of my favorite snacks is to cut them in slices and drizzle a small amount of either chocolate or peanut butter on them then freeze them. almost like a bite size popsicle, great for summer
I either grill or fry ham steak and use a mustard/brown sugar glaze.
In Australia our family we serve ham steaks with fried pineapple and salad yummy love your grocery haul so different from Australian shops 😊
We just pan sear ham steaks and serve them with green beans and homemade mac-n-cheese! It was a staple when I was growing up, so it's a nostalgic meal for me!

:) Thanks!
The Pioneer Woman's, scalloped ham and potatoes is my suggestion. You will not be sorry! It is so good!
I love that granola! My Sam's club had it as a sample a few weeks back and I was impressed!

Yes! The peel doesn't come off after frozen :)
Love watching your haul videos :) Our fun weekend plans are to take our sons on a 3 hour train ride through a national park. My youngest will be 7 on Monday and he adores trains so we're going to celebrate his birthday on one :)

I agree with you, I avoid the avocados 🥑 at Costco
I love the picnic bag
With the ham I would make potatoe and ham soup😉! We are going to amac
Those veggie bites intrigue me. Are they soy free? I cannot remember if you mentioned that. I need to check my Costco for those on my shopping day next Friday.
Costco avocados are so hit or miss. They're either rocks or insta-soft. I am undecided on whether they're worth buying. LOL
You can cut the ham & put it in Mac & Cheese
+Chrissy Chrissy good idea!
U could chop the ham steak and put it on eggs or make omelets
I love sampling at Costco and I like their pizza.
Add the ham steak to omelets also maybe pea soup?
Awesome video! :)
Thanks for watching! :)
Great haul !!! 💜💜
Thanks :)

How much was the soap? I usually purchase that at Target but wondering if you got for a better price.
+Shannon Roberts It was $2.49 😁
Do you like going to different Grocery Outlets. We have 3 with in the same driving distance of us. (3 different cities) I have found they can be very different from each other.
We usually go to the same on, when traveling though it is interesting to see what a new store has. :)
awesome Jennifer
Jennifer do you get all your socks there? they are cute my daughter says they are cute and she is also a fan of those books lol she saw that and she said what and then you said comment below if you are and she said I am
I think all of my fun socks have come from funsockcity.com

+Shawn and Lisa Mason no problem! Their stores are crazy! Check out their instagram @funsockcity to see some pictures🤤😁🖒
I am working all weekend. I am a Telemetry tech at a hospital here in Oregon. So ill be stuck inside.
I've read the Mortal Instruments but prefer the Infernal Devices, as you can tell by my username.

Yum! Thanks for watching :)
I read Lord of Shadows. It was ... intense.
the clothes for children are. less expensive at walmart. i seen a few of those same outfits for 8$ or 9$. i have a grand daughter so i keep an eye on the cute kids clothes. Do you have a Winnco grocery store in your area? they cheap too. i go get lots of food at Winnco. nice haul. i like looking at Costco hauls. im debating about buying a membership.

We do have a winco close and go there sometime :)
do you only eat organic?
I'm curious what the veggie bites taste like. They look like they are glazed with buffalo sauce? I'm really really curious lol.
They're not really spicy like buffalo sauce. They're similar tater tots, but instead of white potato, it has sweet potato and chunks of carrot and corn. I like them toasted until crispy, YUM!

Mine do that sometimes too! ANNOYING
Nice
If u already read the book why do u want to buy it think about it
Hiiii
I don't think u r missing much with aldi. The produce is not that fresh compared to Costco, Kroger and fresh thyme. Their mushrooms are soggy and not firm like ones sold else where. there is a grocery outlet in the city of Compton ca did you shop there
+Lanshay Hull we are nowhere near compton. Im not sure why the race of the owner would matter...
I know this was a year ago but dad makes pea soup out of ham steak
if that is the grocery outlet in Compton Ca is not a good store to you cuz it's black owned
+Lanshay Hull not sure why you would say that?
I love that basket!
Ya'll are awesome your kids are so cute
I love that basket!
