We NEED Gym Leader Challenge to be officially recognized as a playable format in PTCGO. If there's one person who can manage to convince TPCI to do it, that's definitely Andrew.

This format is a DREAM come true. Commander is my favorite MTG format and while Pokemon doesn't do Singleton AS well with the prizes, there are a lot of cool things you can do here. Would LOVE to see it thrive, definitely gonna try and push this format a bit in my LGS community. Any thoughts on doing some specific, non-TCG focused types, like Flying or Ghost? So much potential for great, thematic decks.
this format is WAY BETTER than the official. Maybe a 2 card restriction for pokemon cards would be enough, but the ultra rares being banned is so much fun and brings all the fun mechanics to the game.
I love this format because I don't have the resources to get full play sets of ultra rares and key cards. So this format let's me be creative with what I do have
A greater variety of cards, cards that have never seen competitive play before, matches that aren't over in just a few turns - GLC is such a good vibe 👌
Also it makes more sense if there is a Pokémon commander deck it would have to be 100 card Pokémon decks and you play one copy of each card and you can only have mutiple copy’s of basic energy cards and your commander would have to be a legendary Pokémon of any kind

Can Dynamotor accelerate special energy? In one of the early games Speed Energy was discarded and Eelektrik's ability reads "attach a lightning energy card" not a basic lightning energy there for not prohibiting the attachment of special energy.
Speed Lightning energy is only a lightening energy while attached to a lightning Pokémon so even tho eelektrik doesn’t explicitly state Basic energy it effectively only accelerates basics
When Lysandre's Trump Card was banned when Seismatoad played it to get lasers & DC energy back I was so happy. That deck was no fun to play against. Played at the World's Open in Boston and went 2-3 with M-Manetric/Toad against all toad/garb. Do see your point about Shaymin-EX. My friend bought them for $15/each but sold them for $60 a piece.

Pokemon will never recognize this as a viable format because pokemon wants people to buy their overpriced power creeped cards. For example they dont need to print 3 differently named professor juniper but it makes them money so they did that. I think this is an amazing format and i wish pokemon would make it work.
These titles are starting to sound like advertisements, it feels like you own a website or is part of a group that advertises on their channel or something.... idk
Have you thought about banning trump card in GLC because doesn't that limit creativity if you can just get your resources back. Like I see why it can be fun but doesn't that defeat the point of having only 1 card?
Trump card is super hard to take advantage of cause there’s nothing to search it out specifically and it’s really tough to draw back through your deck. It’s also a good strategy against mill. Trump card is fine and super balanced

U150 resolved the problem of prize cards, but i don't think they will do that with the gym leader challenge format

You should try a grass deck with heracross from Chilling reign as the main attacker, coin flip for the win
