Die Maschine wurde nach einem schweren Startunfall letztes Jahr repariert und der Erstflug hier nachgeholt. Lackierung und Oberflächendetails sind noch nicht wieder fertiggestellt. Diesmal wollte ich erst sehen wie sie fliegt. Abgesehen von den noch zu grossen Ruderausschlägen und zu weit hinten liegendem Schwerpunkt war ich mit diesem Flug gar nicht unzufrieden. Es folgen die üblichen Trimm- und Einstellflüge, dann sollte sie ein zuverlässiger Warbird werden. Ich hoffe ihr mögt den coolen sanften Sound. Klingt schon besonders.. :-)
Besonderheiten: Aufbau GFK-Rumpf, Rippenfläche beplankt und beschichtet. Gesamte Oberfläche von Hand detailliert. Kompletter Cockpitausbau, Motor mit Getriebe, Kühlung ausschliesslich über die Flächenkühler ohne Zusatzöffnungen im Rumpf. Telemetrie für Motordaten
Congratulations on a successful maiden Detlef - very brave doing a roll on the first pass! Noticed her ballooning early on until you got her under control, but from then on she looked beautiful with very scale like flying characteristics - and a great sound too - to rival a Moki! Sam, Looks like the roll on first pass is like a Standard procedure for my maiden flights. Was the same with the 1:4 P40 years ago.
Gratuliere, Detlef! Der Sound der Maschine gefällt mir sehr gut. Vor allem beim direkten Überflug. Dieses Modell ist wieder einmal eine Augenweide. Ich bin froh, dass du sie nun so sauber in die Luft bekommen hast. Auf solche Projekte kann und muss man besonders stolz sein. Das hält nicht jeder durch. Ich hoffe, ich werde dieses schöne Modell einmal live in der Luft und am Boden bewundern können. Darauf freue ich mich.

Awesome plane, the sound is great.... I have a Carf spitfire and that is also a bit tricky one the pitch, very sensitiv in flight but not enough on landing :) Look forward to more videos of this plane

You couldn't balance if after repairs??? Come on man, you made a basic mistake.
I knew she would fly safely on this CG, but as I found out, a bit more forward will be better. The video proves that this assumption was correct. No issue. She is close to 25 kilograms, and moving the CG more forward is not made in minutes.
