"Some of our astute followers have noticed me slurring my words. I am not drunk but working with Brad it would be justifiable. I had 6 infected cysts removed from my mouth (noncancerous) and I have residual scar tissue and numbness. I will try to do better. Thanks Bob."
Oh, god, glad you are going to be ok, hugs
I’m sticking with drunk because of Brad! Hahaha 😝
You're doing great! Always great advice. Thank you so much!
Feel better! 💐
Thanksbob
I have had this my entire life, but it was not diagnosed until I was 46 and had a work injury. By that time I had no cartilage left under both my kneecaps. Now I tape in order to exercise my legs. It has made all the difference in the world. I am 66 and have not had to have any knee replacements because of this. Thanks for another informative video.
Happy to help 😃
I too have no cartilage left under my kneecaps. Thank you for giving me hope!
how long we need to keep this tape
Love how they are able to teach me more even after 5 years of PT school 🙌 Amazing guys ..You'll are my inspiration as a PT and an aspiring UA-camr 🙌
Thanks 😊
Love the dock/shoe duo!! Fun. We all need more of!! Keep cracking the jokes and the dry humor is great!!
I mentally start break-dancing every time i hear your intro song.
they're the most famous physical therapists on the internet in MY opinion too
This was exactly what I was looking for! Ya!!!
Yay!
Excellent detailed explanations, thank you
thanks for explaining this so clearly. This helps explain some aspects of a knee pain episode I had back in 2003 which was resolved with PT. Now I understand better what they were doing.
the Chinese do a lot of walking backwards in parks, I do a bit in the park now and pull a weighed sled in the gym, also in the gym walking backwards on a treadmill (no power) works great, good resistance
Wow learned alot on this thanks guys you are gems.
I had the same experience, going down steps caused the most pain. What helped was doing exercises, I haven't had it for years now, I wish I new about taping back then. It was really painful.
hot quads, Brad 😁
I'm not sure about the taping stuff, but the shoe/sock combo was inspirational.
😉
Thanks for the info and the laughs, guys!
You’re very welcome!
The socks and shoes comment at the end of the video. Too cute. hahaha you two are great!
Thanks for sharing this technique. I'll try it on my husband's knee. Nice socks, Brad.
Thanks!
My skin is reactive to KT tape and a variety of medical adhesives. I've found that using a barrier film, such as Cavilon, before applying the tape protects me from the itching and rash. It also helps with adhesion.
Mr. Crossley, I've found "rounding" the edges helps avoid the tape from sticking to your clothes.
I didn’t even know what I was watching it’s just so relaxing 😌
Love this stuff
Wow, I just had my kneecap taped today! The PT used K-tape and called it "scooping". Really helped.
how long we need to keep this tape
Many people have this issue because of patella misalignment by birth (my case). Strengthening and physical therapy won’t do nothing at all, too many years passed. Only solution is to tape or use knee braces.
Hello, thank you, could you please include links to the types of tape you used?
Non of my physical therapists have told me about my knee being in the wrong place but I’ve always thought it was pretty far on the lateral edge. And my knees have been getting more and more noisy as years have gone on
I really want to know is weight bearing exercises are helpful for chondromelcia case?
Is there a knee brace that can pull the patella to the inside of the leg like what you did with the tape? Thanks!!
How to tape for patella alta
Kneecap and meniscus is different simptoms and show the tapes?
I'm trying out the tape and it definitely seems to help with the pain, but since I've put the tape on ive been getting a small painless pop at the top of my knee cap when it bends and then extends straight. Is this an issue or normal?
I'm okay climbing up the stairs, but my left inside part of my knee hurts going down stairs. Will this method also help going downstairs?? Or should I do something else?
Where can I get the small pieces of KT tape on top of the white tape?
my right knee is arthritic and the pain and inflammation is on the left side of the knee.
What if this patellofemoral pain is to the medial side of the knecap.....what could be the reason? And how to do tapping for it? Will it be same a that for lateral patellofemoral pain?
Plz plz reply
Hope this helps. My knee hurts a lot.
Ever watch
Knees over toes guy
On UA-cam?
So, my knee cap only hurts when I walk (just started about a week ago)..no pain when I climb stairs, ride my bike, etc...only when I walk on the level. There is no pain at all when I do squats. No pain when sitting or laying down. I'm 71. I've walked a minimum of 2 miles/day for years. I was just walking my dog when my knee started hurting.. Will this taping you describe help my problem? Any thoughts?
I beg you help me.. I went for an ncv and now my once perfectly fine hand is experiencing pain... What is happening is ncv the cause?
I tried to do that but I guess I'm too hairy and the taoing won't stick to my knee and even if I manage to stick it, once I move, my kneecap moves or I move my muscles it loosens it up. I guess I gotta shave my knees
Nice socks!!
😄
Does anyone know a good knee brace to help my knee cap track properly? Thanks in advance!!
Here are some videos that might help you find one for you: www.youtube.com/@BobandBrad/search?query=knee%20brace
Hi, i'm 30 . years ago i messed my right knee up. but never really did anything about it. Now there is like a quarter size hard type of thing floating around in there. Sometimes when i do squats i have to wiggle it around so it wont get stuck. my knee locks up when i go down but when i move it out of the way i'm all good. what is that ?
Is your meniscus intact? Have MRI scan . Hugs from Italy
Source: I'm a doctor
@@adastra3147 I have no idea, I walk , run . Works fine. Just cracks and pops along with whatever is floating in there .thanks will do .
Sounds like you might have a meniscus tear. Possibly a cyst too.
Where are you gentlemen located?
I find the tape sticks to my trousers and rolls up. Any tips to stop that happening?
I use skin prep on my leg before attaching the mefix white tape. Keeps it from rolling up. The leukotape sticks well to that with no problems. If it’s the leukotape rolling up, either curve the corners like someone said or make sure your hands are clean and dry, and touch as little around the edge as possible.
try using medical tape over the ends, i find it sticks better. the cloth tape is the best. (nexcare is best)
If the pain was from the inside as opposed to the outside of the knee, the tape would then run from inside to outside pulling away, correct?
I need the same explanation.....is that accurate?
You Lift Bro
I am missing that groove so my kneecaps move all over
Can they take bath after having tape
Yes. I usually tape mine for 2-3 days and have bathed with the tape on. It does weaken it after a couple times though. It’s not recommended to leave the tape on more than 2 days at a time.
How to tape
Nice socks 😉
😄
Cut a piece of tape that extends passed the mouth, slightly . Properly fitted it will mute the screams of pain. Lol
Then you should delete this previous video trash talking about K-tape.... you'll look more serious
