I was bored and decided to stop by Harley to look around. Test drove the breakout, bought it 30 minutes later. I love it.
Update: have already ordered the stage 3 kit.
@@Dabocadodo you have videos about your bike?
@@SuperDeadRooster I only have one of the breakout running with some freedom performance pipes. I’ve since sold that bike and bought a LRS which I heavily modified.
@@Dabocado Why'd you sell it? Genuinely asking because I'm thinking about an outbreak. Gonna test ride one tomorrow.
It was simply due to my riding style. The breakout is a great light to light bike but hard in the corners. I primarily rode naked street fighters before and the LRS fit my style a lot more.
I personally think this is the best looking Harley that came out this year
I want to love it.. it's great looking.. I always want to love low classic looking harleys.. intill I ride them.. and can't keep up with a local in a mini van on twisty roads with out draging pipe and peg.
Looks like a kowasaki
It is a gd looking bike .. but not for me
And it's actually got some chrome parts on it. I'd definitely change out the exhaust and license plate bracket for custom replacement parts.
This one is a beautiful bike. Just a couple mods and it would be perfect
I hace a 2017 breakout about to tunr over 100,000 miles on it
last year of the 5 gallon tanl been to STurgi and route 66 on it I love this bike
I wish they would release a breakout special with all the chrome blacked out! I’d buy it so quick!!!
And call it “Blackout” that would be so cool
Or dark nickel plating. That'd be awesome.
I've had a Breakout ever since HD stopped making the Night Train and I love it!
Best looking harley I've seen in a long time.
Man this felt like an OG video with the ol' motovlogging chat. Getting them sportster review vibes. Always love your content Block!
The goodl ol' motovlogging chat of OH LOOK A SQUIRREL! lol thanks man 👍
@@BlockheadMoto basically haha!
Came back to watch this vid again even though I bought a White 24' in March. This was a well done review video.
Test rode it a couple weeks ago. Not my cup of tea, but a very good bike. The 117 delivers.
I have a built 2015 breakout and love it. They are not for everyone but I have to say I'm really digging the silver for this yr. Only if it came with a blacked out motor!
I have mine! I’m 5.7 Have no problem handling.
Traded in my 2018 breakout for the 2022 low rider ST and I don't regret it. Love the fat tire but not as much as the fairing and maneuverability, both great bikes though!
Beautiful looking bikes the Breakout. Even better now they have a decent size fuel tank. 😎👍🏍️💨🇬🇧
Just bought 1 seen it had to have it its that nice i couldnt walk away and rides a dream and power is unreal.. 10 out of 10👍👍👍👏👏👏well done harley davidson
Mine is coming in 3-5 weeks, stupid excited
I just bought one a few days ago. I can’t wait til this bad bike gets home. And til the snow melts.
Errr...
Levi's have an INSEAM. LOL
🤠✌️
Always liked the breakouts just wasn’t a fan of the small tank. Awesome to see they bumped it up to 5gals. Had a Yamaha raider and loved it but aftermarket sucked for it. The breakout definitely has the aftermarket support and could see buying it as a 2nd bike
That bike looks awesome....put in a sns 475 cam with a 2 bros turnout 2 into 1 pipe, be insane
Bro the boots and pants reference killed me😂 that commercial was made in my home town for our terrible mall, no one dreamed it would take off like it did lol
I have to find some different boots or something because I'm having to jam my toe under to shift gears. But I love it.
I love the minimalist dash but brighter if TFT. Digital dates the bike
Feels like the Americans came late to the party when in Europe and Australia they were churnning out Breakouts. But nice to see breakouts coming back into the fray on American Roads
Love the breakouts here in the Uk 🇬🇧
This is the one i would get from the current line up, as from sitting on it in the showroom it compares very well to my 81 Sturgis (my favorite bike)
Pipe, bars, stage two!! bulletproof!!!
I’m in love with this bike
BE MY pick..and I’ve only had crotch rockets. LONG thought of owning a Harley..just have a BAD back @ 62.
I really dig the color way of that bike! 🤙🏼
Great review. I’m test riding the 117 breakout on Saturday when my LRS is in for servicing. Can’t wait to try it out. Plus that cruise control is a game changer! 👌🏾
Looks great but too much chrome. Chrome is a lot of work unless live in desert others rust
I love my 2020 Heritage, but this breakout is beautiful! Might have to check one out at my local dealer.
Did the 2023 not come with traction control? It is on the 2024. Excellent review, you know a lot about this bike and bikes in general, well done!!
It’s a pretty sweet ride! The only thing I’d change would be the bars. I think it would be sick with a set of ape hangers on it. I could definitely get used to it then!
I have a 2014 breakout and the first thing I did was put 12 inch apes.
Amen, have 14" x 2" thick apes on my 2018 and it changed everything!
Im gonna have to throw my leg over one now! Thanks for the great video!
I like the looks of it, but personally don't like having a wide tire. Few other things I don't like are the gauge and forward controls.
Love that colour
Loving this bike..
Looks like a modern deuce
That tiny screen kills it for me. The Indian Chief Dark Horse kills it.
I have a 2014 breakout. I’m “6’5” 35 inch inseam. My leg rest directly over the intake on my bike. Im not sure if the riding position is that much different between the two bikes
Got 2020 breakout not keen on this one , seat seems wider and for some reason feels lighter and looks shorter. May just be tank that puts me off and chroming all the bits that were previously black. Don't like heavy breather either.
Would have bought one of these a few years back if it didn't have the tiny tank. The new ones are definitely a hit.
I have a 2010 CVO Softail Convertible and the windshield that came with it causes so much buffeting that I can’t even put it on the bike. Like you said, get full wind protection or no wind protection. You riding in seemingly comfortable weather year-round makes me want to live in Florida. Where I live, we are at that weather where you gotta wear enough clothes that you’re hot sitting still just so you hopefully won’t be cold on the ride.
Like this bike!
I pick mine up this Thursday can’t wait

I haven’t watched your vids in a LONG time man and I heard your voice and then seen your face and I was like woah?!?!?! He finally revealed himself! Right on hahahahah
Way to much chrome. I hope they offer a blacked out option or something that chrome is hard to get past lol.
Chrome is king. I would love to see one with a 300mm rear and big wheel up front.
I was disappointed with the breakout having so much chrome. I mean I get it.. Harley and chrome.. but I'm not a big fan. Recently picked up another 2019 FXDR for a run-around bike to go with my 22 LRS because I missed the look. Maybe if they drop a black-out kit I'll reconsider.
I used to want a breakout… now I’ve seen M$B’s Road Glide with the stage 4 OMFG I’m a changed man (and I’m yet to test ride anything that would ever come close to that but I know I want it)!
Is it just me..or does the new breakout look ridiculously similar to the fatboy? Put on some solid wheels and a fat headlight and they'd be pretty much identical..
Unless you have to get your pant legs hemed, read the lablr to find your inseam as thats how they are measured
Good review....like and subscribed...love from msia.....
HD should have installed that 135 ci motor in the Breakout, make it an all around special bike, that 117ci is old news
That putting emblems in the seat 😞I hope they never go into the pillow business. But I love the breakout.
Thats a sick looking bike and I love that Harley made it lower for shorter riders.
Hey blockhead if you look on the Levi’s tan it will give you, your inseam it the waist X inseam. But thanks for being average. It helps us average guys by bikes and gear. Keep up the content. Thanks
Thats an absolutely dope bike. Too bad I'll probably never be able to afford it.
are they goin to Make a CVO one ?
How’s finding neutral?
Nice bike ..id prolly have to change the bars though
Looks badass but giving any of these bikes less than 30 degrees of lean angle is so stupid.
SOFTWARE is awesome. Hopefully the new software in 2023 Diavel V4 will spill
Over to all the manufacturers. They have different fuel mapping for each individual gear. Not a group of gear matching not just 1St and 6th but each individual gear to take advantage what each gear offers. Some gears redline is different to make every gear tractable. I am sure Harley is looking into this next step
I’m having a hard time trading my 06 Night Train for one of these. One of my buds said not to as the Night Train is what the breakout tries to be.
He’s right 👍🏼
@@peterdistefano87 thx bro!
Just need a some 14in. Ape hangers with a fitting heads up display windshield
The shifter is a little bit too far do you have a shorter one
With the rake decreased it looks a lot like my 2012 Blackline.
@10:00 Only 1 suit measure counts Block
But did you take it on the SPEEDWAY?! 😂
Man I'm really digging the potential this bike has. I'm thinking like a sinister Cafe racer/ chopper mix. Gotta lose some of the chrome and chop some of the do-dads it's got but yeah I'm liking this bike a lot.
Needs dual brembos up front.
I'm 6'8", it generally sucks as the world is not build for me; airplanes, roller coasters, cars, doors, etc. I do ride a FLHTK, but its customized to allow me to ride comfortably.
Hey Block another awesome vid! What is your honest opinion between this beast and a Lowrider ST? I feel like the Breakout gets the heart and the LowriderST gets the head? After riding both I am a little confused which way to go. Lowrider still looks awesome and I feel rides better. Which way would you go? Merry Christmas and ride safe!
For me, how good it is doesn't matter as it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a new HD for anything close to MSRP out the door now.
It's not the entire motorcycle market that's like that either. Harley dealership fees have gotten out of control the last few years.
I bought my brand new 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Centenario, which retails for $9199 for $9500 out the door at a small dealership in Massachusetts in early 2021.
Harley was, and still is, charging crazy fees, adding unwanted accessories and crazy dealer markups on ALL models.
It's frustrating.
Look at your jeans! I'm 38x32. 38" waist and 32" inseam, that should be good enough
Hell, I'm 6'4 - 6'5 and only buy 32 length pants. I got short AF legs...
Are there mid controls for the 2023 breakout
Shin and Air cleaner seems to be a problem for 6‘1-6‘2 people as me. Any solutions?
Make sure you have a Bud Light after that Harley drive 😂
those rims i made it 20 seconds
Bring back the VRod 😢
Would it be a good beginner bike yes or no In your opinion
What size jeans do you buy I'm 5/10 with a 30 inseam
I'm still wondering why they'd name anything with "break" right in the name, though
😂
I am 6’2” with a 34” inseam and my leg is pressed up against the air cleaner on my 2023 breakout
Am definitely getting a different air cleaner. It hinders getting on my rear brake
got one and I love it
How does it compare in power and comfort to the sportster s?
Do you think the bigger Tank would mount on the 18, 19, and 20 model breakouts?
Yes did my homework already....$1100 for the tank, $475 for the fuel pump. and I believe the seat has to be changed, Thinking about an '18 fatboy tank with a couple mods!
Should be able to swap the fuel pump over from your old tank to save you that $475, just be sure replace the gasket! 👍
They told me different part# but maybe??
I also test rode the 2023 Breakout, can your shop obtain and install the 135 crate engine for this bike. H-D's website indicates it is only compatible with 2021 and newer tour bikes. I want to purchase this bike and install the 135 blacked out and black out all the chrome on the Orange model.
elle est superbe et semble tres agreable a utiliser.
I test rode the 3.5 gal 114 cui version and it was terrible to ride. I had to struggle it through every roundabout.
Hey! How do you record while you’re riding?
Is 2023 breakout fuel tank is same as 2022 lowrider’s? It looks same…
Don’t know why they got rid of it in the 1st place
Where do u get your boots?
Hiw much isbit gonna cost me to black this out. Nothing against chrome, its just not my preference.
I powdercoated my 2017 BreakOut. I had it customized with the fork boots, lowered 2", red & black engine trim, fender struts, speedo, triple trees, primary, cam cover, red calipers, etc. The powdercoat alone was around $700. Not including labor to take everything off and put back on.
Why is the Breakout more popular in UK ???
It's more popular in Europe, Germany especially. Something about the culture there that likes the style of the bikes, low, raked out a bit, wide rear tire. Same with the VRod.
Do they offer mids
