- Die Dampflok 241.A.65 des gleichnamigen Vereins fuhr heute zusammen mit der Tabak-Lok 01.22 von Biel nach Full.

Ich habe den Zug und die Loks am Bözberg und in Stein-Säckingen filmen können.
Bei angenehmen 33°C sollte man vielleicht besser Baden gehen. ;)
Die Tabak-Lok ist die grösste jemals in der Schweiz gefertigte Dampflok und wird heute ihrer neuen Heimat nach Full überführt. Sie war bisher bei den Eisenbahnfreunden des Vapeur Val-de-Travers (VVT) untergebracht, doch der Platz ist dort knapp geworden.
Gebaut wurde sie bei der SLM Winterthur, es gibt allerdings wenig historisches Material zu der Lok.

Die Hinfahrt von Full nach Biel fand bereits gestern statt.
Vielen Dank für den Hinweis von einem Fahrgast, der heute im Zug sass und den ich gestern am Bahnhof Brugg antraf. Es hat sich doch gelohnt, auch wenn es sehr heiss war.

Die Tabak-Lok sieht ein bisschen schmuddelig aus. Wird sie noch weiter restauriert?
Ausserdem scheint es fast, als wäre das hinterste triebrad paar nicht mit gestänmgen mit den anderen verbunden?

Hallo! The 241.A.65 is an old french locomotive, the other one is build in swiss by SLM in 6 pieces for the bulgarian railways in many parts like an german "Einheitslokomotive" (german standard locomotive).

You should lookup for the bulgarian Mikado BDZ 01.22 and for the french Mikado 241 A 65.
Both are Mikados, the difference is the area of application of the two: the 01.22 is a locomotive for mixed traffic, ie passenger trains and mostly freight trains - recognizable by the drivers diameter of 1650 mm and the maximum speed of 90 km/h.
The French 241 is more of a passenger locomotive with a drivers diameter of over 2 meters and a speed of 120 km/h.
The 241 A 65 is Europe's second most powerful steam locomotive, after its sister, the 241 P 17.
