With this video the heliocentric model collapses.
Notice how the hemispheres would never change seasons, since the Earth is tilted the same way toward the sun all the time.
In the theoretical model shown in the drawings, an obvious deception is appreciated because the Earth's axis changes its orientation in order to explain the seasonal changes.
In this video it is clearly appreciated that in practice the translation around the sun would happen with a different angular inertia.

The first time I held a gyro as a middleschooler was magical! I was fascinated. My physics teacher was so happy to see the wonder and joy in my eyes as I kept spinning it up and moving it around in speechless amazement. Then I eventually saw the bicycle wheel gyro later in life and it was so cool to actually spin on a chair purely due to the forces at work. When I got a motorcycle as a Junior in HS it was fun to "countersteer" on the winding road to school. :) You push forward on the left handlebar which you would expect to move you to the right, but instead you end up leaning left as the whole bike tilts over and consequently the bike drifts over to the left instead of the right. Very interesting sensation.

If you follow just a point on the ball, you’ll see that gravity grabs it and pulls it down, setting it in motion downward. Then, it rotates and suddenly the downward motion has been redirected upward. So, any push on the gyro gets transformed into a push in the opposite direction, effectively cancelling the forces.

@@kwimms You know that most of them couldn't even read or write at that time? You're 100% getting executed, if for not the explanation, but for the magical air current coming out of the hole without anyone blowing into it or bellowing into it

Incredibly cool! I've always seen gyroscopic procession demonstrated with like a bicycle wheel on a string or one of those purpose-built gadgets. Fun to see it in action here along with the friction reducing effects of the air cushion, like an air hockey table. Thanks for sharing!

suggestion: it falls bc there is no pressure change between where its being dropped from and where it lands. but you're creating a sub pressurized vortex which keeps it somewhat in play but because the pressure is still the same above and below, it still falls.
