Killer Istinct - Snes Longplay - Original Hardware - 1CC ,all wins... kinda (1995, RARE)

I love this game. But for the sake of my life, i can't play it properly. I managed to pull off a decent - not good by any means, mind you - longplay of this one and I saved it here.
Released in 1995, Killer Instinct brought the arcade fighting experience to the SNES home console, delivering intense combos, unique characters, and groundbreaking graphics for its time. Rare used Silicon Graphics (SGI) workstations to create pre-rendered 3D models of characters and backgrounds. These high-quality 3D models were then converted into 2D sprites, which allowed the SNES to display visually impressive graphics that appeared 3D. Moreover, the SNES had limited memory and processing power, so Rare had to use advanced compression techniques to fit the detailed sprites and animations into the game. This involved compressing the pre-rendered images into smaller files without losing significant detail, allowing more data to be stored and accessed quickly.
This game is amazing from the gamepad perspective. In its core, the game is a 6 button tournament fighter. However, Killer Instinct is renowned for its intricate combo system, which allows players to string together long chains of attacks. Players can interrupt and stop an opponent’s combo by inputting a specific sequence during the combo, adding a layer of strategy and defense. Successfully performing a combo breaker can turn the tide of battle.
There are a lot of strategy layers here, which I blatantly ignored in my run.
As usual, this one (as all my playthroughs) use NO savestates. In my opinion, playing this way yields a footage more attuned to game and level design than save-state powered runs. When i feel like editing videos, i'll do a review, not a playthrough.
Original cartridge recorded on Super Nintendo, with Retrotink2x and Avermedia Live Mini. Played on CRT with an original Super Nintendo controller.
