I was just telling Jason (Front Seat Driver) I want to get a floor jack so I can take off my wheels and clean the wheel’s barrels and the wheel wells easier.
The harbor freight low profile jack along with the ACS jack pucks is a perfect combination!
I can vouch for the HF low profile jack too. It’s a great value and fits perfectly under the low rocker panels of the C7👍 Just make sure you have pucks!

FYI Covercraft, the car cover manufacturing company, will also make you a custom fitted cover to work on a car with a rear wing, large front splitter, etc. You can go to their we site and follow instructions on how to measure for added body modifications. I had them make me a custom cover to fit my C6 which I added a large APR rear wing to. Fits like a glove.
That cover Is way better than the OE one. Like you said is loose and less chance of scratching

I actually did purchase these, but thought twice about installing them. What if the dealer still cannot clear the side skirts with these 1/4 inch pucks, and need to use higher pucks to get clearance? Now there are no holes for them to use the temp pucks and twist them in. And, not all dealers will think about using wood, etc.
Well, they come out very easily if they had to and in my experience from limited trips to a dealership they never used any kind of twist in pucks.

Ordered my pucks pre Xmas, didn’t know ACS had them. Putting them on this weekend. Gonna check ACS for a C7-ZO6 cover 👍🏽. Nothing looks better than the black, but oh, the maintenance 🤣. Mine Triple black..... ACS - u need to come out to Florida (Tampa/StPete) to some car shows and product.

Comment on cover -- my current cover does not take the battery trickle charger into account. The wire lays aside the car until it comes out of the bottom of the cover, and since my cord is not quite long enough, it pulls the side of the cover up slightly. I don't have a solution, but if someone could brainstorm how to snake a battery tender wire out of the trunk and outside the cover, I'm sure it would sell.
I'm surprised the covers don't have a velcro door for this exact reason.

Agreed. I wasn't under it, I just had it lifted so everyone could see. It would be a bad idea to get under a car that is only supported by a jack. Heck, even some jack stands aren't that safe anymore.

The cover looks good. Definitely the way to go if one stores their car over the winter. I keep mine covered when not in use since there's a lot of dust here. That's the price we pay in exchange for little to no rain most of the year. :D I agree, the OEM cover although very nice, is ridiculously expensive. However, I was able to persuade the dealer to include it at no charge. >:) That along with a battery tender. Although it turned out there was another one in the car when I got home. I have some jacking pucks that use the factory slots and twist and lock into place. However, they don't fit the C7 since they were made for the C5 and C6. I acquired them at no cost from my dad. He used them to change oil in his C6 until he saw my race ramps. :) What I really want is a lift . However, the garage ceiling isn't high enough. But I'm not complaining since it's a first world problem for sure.
I hear ya! My ceilings aren't high enough for a lift either. I use my race ramps for almost everything but every now and then if the wheels have to come off you can't use the race ramps. That's where the ACS pucks come in!
@@HorsePowerObsessed I use a floor jack and lift it using the rear or front cross member jacking locations which are the preferred floor jack lift locations. And I have a device that was designed for lifting a C7 using this method. It's nice since it lifts both sides simultaneously and equally. Note: The lift points you use were primarily intended for use with a vehicle lift in conjunction with lift pucks like those you showed. However, there's nothing wrong with how you're doing it.
Agreed. I don't have a jack that is low enough/long enough to reach the front cross member so if I can't use my race ramps, the jack on these pucks is the next best for me.

With those pucks if you ever have to have the car towed you are screwed because those holes are for tying the car down on a roll back
Those jackpots come out easy as heck... So even if they are for something like that it's two screws and they come right out.
@@HorsePowerObsessed yes you are right those work great when you are in your garage or driveway at home but if you ever need a tow when you are on the road good luck trying to take them off the front one's are where the rollback puts the tow hooks to winch it up on the truck and then they use all four of them to tie it down, I know because I've had to have my ZO6 towed 3 times I have the aluminum one's that toggle in for jacking and then remove when done

Have their peeps, call my peeps, we can probably work out something.😉 FWIW, I have a sneaky suspicion D Anthony may be interested in this cover, but since D is such a Fashion Plate, he may require this cover in Ceramic Matrix Gray and want his channel embroidered on it as well as the ZR1 Badge. Thanks, Peter! I wouldn't mind some more ZR1 branding on the cover myself, but I understand it's a copyright thing for them so it probably won't happen. The pucks are very easy to install and have been quite useful for me as of late! Like you said, the less crap laying around the garage the better! It does look like a NHRA Funny Car and I'm ok with that! The big wing really makes sure you still know there's a beast under that cover!
