That Etsy PC is disgusting. The PC, at absolutely most, even with scalped parts, is worth $1000. $2000 for that paint job is nauseating. I can’t believe people get scammed through this site like this; I thought Dell was bad.

They also make false claims about pricing. For example they claim if you outfit the same rig on pcpartpicker it would be $4000 dollars when it's more around the 2k mark with a scalped card and the 1.5k mark with a non scalped card. It's clearly misleading and fraudulent.

I think your forgot that they make their money on everything in the video. It blows my mind when people think “this youtuber actually spend $3000 out of his own pocket” no, no they don’t. They spend $3000 out of the budget for their overhead which is then credited off their taxes. I understand you may not be familiar with how youtubers make money but I want to warn you. Every single item in a youtubers video is paid for within their tax write offs, thats how they make money. No youtuber actually spends money from their own bank account. Shit these youtubers can even write a contract to promote an item. In other words, Austin contacts etsy seller, tells etsy seller your item will be viewed by X amount of people on youtube, etsy person sends pc for video, youtuber never paid a dollar for it.
I have re-used a couple older dell and HP cases for newer work computers... and in every case the "proprietary" front panel connector was, not... it was a mono block that contained power, reset, power led, and hdd led all in the same exact pinout as you find on any after marker motherboard. The simple fact that these cases makes plugging in the entire front panel into 1 plug is great and should really be used by more companies.
I have no idea what anything means when it comes to PCs or how to build them but I still love watching all the broke vs pro builds and the other videos Austin does
What I do with the Dell systems is swap the power supply and upgrade the RAM and GPU and it works great. Dell Precision 790 and above uses standard PSU and not proprietary PSU. Could of use the Dell case and upgrade those parts and good to go Problem he runs into when you put the Dell board into another case is that if you don't have all of the connections populated (Like Front Panel ports, the board will pop up Press F1 to Continue every time you boot up the machine (At 11:19 in the video, you will notice the F1 screen)
That's why I keep my old phone and instead upgrade my gpu every two years and it's still cheaper. They have run out of ideas for phones soon the whole backside of them will be covered with like 20 cameras

That's why you typically use RAID0, but I would say that RAID in general (so also RAID1, RAID5, ...) is used more in case of drive failures than for speed
