80 CLAMS!?!?! YUM! We're always afraid of over salted ramen and then you need tea. My mom always adds hot water because she can't stand it. Love all the new graphics in your videos buddy. Making us miss Ramen once again! HAHA. You are definitely a RAMEN influencer HAHA.
Yes, they really pack in clams in this one! This one is definitely softer in terms of salt content. But even with other good shio ramen shops having satlier bowl, they're very good amount making sure it's still balanced (so you don't have to grab tea nearby 😃).
I’ve been to Kohaku like 3 weeks ago. Really powerful clam flavor, I think there’s few other places that even come close in terms of clam flavor. Great store, just a bit inconvenient location. But it’s easy to understand how that bowl created some hype.
What?! No clam meat in the ramen? Would that be a faux pas? The char siu looked leaner than most. Oooh, please show the hand massaged noodles and your review! It’s funny how your next stop is a ramen half the usual price ... here, they would present a “super-sized bowl” at a normal price... but I guess that wouldn’t be fair to the servers who would have to carry the bowls. 💪🏻😉 Great job!!
Would be nice to have some actual clam - you do have some clam ramen shops here doing that. I think with this bowl though they were trying to highlight what was a really delicate broth and maybe the meat in a way would have been distracting...haha, odd sounding I'm sure, since it is clam ramen to begin with. Good observation - definitely a lean cut of meat! I don't know when I'll be back here again for the soy sauce bowl / hand-massaged noodles...but will put it up on the blog when I go back. At the next video ramen shop, if they did that (super sized) they'd have Popeye sized forearms 😀
Have you had clam ramen before?
That is one of the most beautiful bowls of ramen I have ever seen.
Most definitely - elegantly presented!
agreed. 🤤
Mmm, hungry now! Those clams sound intriguing.
Yes, quite a unique bowl. Really soft flavors overall.
Kamata! Any ramen in Chidoricho? 😄
Haha, unfortunately not. But Kamata hits hard! We have to do some Kamata ramen exploring when you're back.
5 AM Ramen most definitely!
Excellent, comme à chaque fois!
😀😀
Oh now this is a ramen I'd LOVE to try!!
Good on ya!

@@5AMRamen Love TEA after ramen HAHA.
Saving up to go to Japan for like 2 weeks, I'm gonna eat every ramen when I get there and all the anime culture, can't wait
Come hungry 😀
Multiple bowl days may be in order!
Clam Ramen. Rights this is a must try.
Top ranked Tokyo clam ramen right now! Some other great clam ramen shops I should show in another video.

Such a contrast with the surrounding area and some of the heavier bowls there (Kamata) too, huh?
this bowl looks beautiful lol
Beautiful presentation, indeed!
that next bowl looks interesting....so not fair not being able to go to Japan to share in these delicacies....lucky you. Be well and be safe
Until travel has resumed, I will be trying my best to contribute to everyone's Tokyo ramen wish lists 😊
@@5AMRamen Much appreciated and you are doing a great job.
Yum Yum! I love Clams. I think I´d prefer a thicker noodle though. It looks good. How about duck?
I'm gonna do a Top 5 Tokyo Duck Ramen shop video in the future...so much content to share 😊
