You can always fill the open bottoms of your figurines with modeling clay. Then they would fit on the nubs, and be able to spin
I tried that. It makes the puppets really heavy and the cheap metal pegs can’t hold their weight to spin as fast :/ Plus I don’t wanna ruin all my finger puppets
@@MonsterIslandBuddies do you know any one with a 3d printer you might be able to scan the finger puppets and make them fit the pegs that way just a thought
@@MonsterIslandBuddies You can try the hot glue trick. Just fill the hole with glue and put some Vaseline on the nubs, then place the figure on the nub and let the glue cool down. The Vaseline will prevent the glue from sticking on the nub.
Although I'm not sure if the hot glue will the damage the figures.
The answer is corks, of course. You can buy them at most hardware & hobby stores (and probably Amazon) in various sizes, shapes (tapered or straight), and materials (cork-wood, plastic, rubber, foam). Just pick one of appropriate size, shave to fit the finger hole of the figure (if necessary), drill a snug-fitting hole to match the peg of the control arm _(before_ placing in the figure is advised), then assemble and you’re GTG 😁 I would advise cutting down the corks’ height so as to leave some space at the top of the finger hole to allow use of a hook of some type (like a crochet hook or similar) for easy removal of the cork plug if/when needed 🙂

A few days ago, I watched Godzilla (1954). Way better and more serious than I thought. I also enjoyed the human parts, especially Takashi Shimura and Akihiko Hirata.

the product MIB presented at the begining is actually a form of entertainment in japan that predates radio and tv, and it's actually the granddaddy of anime, it's called "Kamishibai" literally meaning "paper play", traveling entertainers would go to small villages and town squares with a wooden box with a window and would change the pictures to tell the story for little children, the reason godzilla's roar sounds like that is because well, entertainers used to do the voices, sounds and even onomatopeya of the play, to my understanding now a days is a dying art but is still used on very small and remote villages and elementary schools, and some companies like shounen jump still make special Kamishibai for famous franchises like dragon ball, naruto, kimetsu no yaiba, etc.
That "GYAO!!!" noise they make is the onomatopoeia of monster roars in Japan (don't ask). I saw it used for Godzilla as late as the "Godzilla vs. Destroyer" manga and it appears in the song in the opening credits of the Japanese version of "Godzilla's Revenge."

I got so excited when i saw that, it’s like a home DIY kamishibai set! 😁 One of my favorite Japanese heroes (and _extremely_ short-lived MIB character 😅) Golden Bat first appeared in kamishibai.
@@christopherwall2121 That is not "standardized." Dark Horse comics invented it in the 80s and then they used it again in their series in the 90s and it took off from there. Toho still uses "GYAO" in Japan.

What if the game was Godzilla vs Ultraman soccer, the one team would be the six Godzilla monsters while the other team instead of gold repaints would be 3 Ultras and 3 Ultra monsters. The Ultraman side would have red knobs while the Godzilla side would have green knobs

Just cut a wooden disc the size of the finger puppet hole, and make a hole in the center for the peg, then you can use your finger puppets on the board. If you mount those on every peg you can freely choose from all your puppets and just put them on the board.
If u want to use ur finger puppets make a 3d printed thing to insert in the holes but make it hollow enough so the pole still fits

If you have access to a 3D printer modeling a light base you can pop the finger puppets on without any permanent bonding should be fairly simple with free software.

Hey MIb, I have an idea for those finger puppets. Maybe you could playdough in the holes and then insert the metal stick part in allowing it to have more of a snug fit and maybe you'll have a better chance allowing them to move and spin.

Maybe they could’ve instead of having the gold Kaiju they could’ve had kept the larva goalie, and replace the others with different Kaiju like maybe anguirus or baragon. Perhaps the rule could have been each player would take turns selecting a Kaiju for their team

I have a theory about Mib’s mask. My theory is he bought a cursed mask at a thrift market and after placing it on said mask ended up fusing to his face and thus explains why he can still ear and drink cause otherwise he would have died of dehydration or starvation and it’s been there ever since.
Simple... use corks to stuff the big holes in the finger puppets and place them on the pegs.

A solution for the finger puppets is just use a wad of clay or putty and fill in the hole (heh heh) of the puppets and that might work.
