The way he just STANDS there like 😐 when you were dissing him to his face for looking old and motheaten is cracking me up 😭😭😂😂
He has the same resting face when i tell him how cute he is and that hes a good boy, i think he just wants me to shut up and leave him alone in general haha
@@EmiologyLoL 😂
Nimbus really does look like a cloud! He’s such an adorable boy 🥹
Glad they are getting along well 😄
I love him and that introduction went well they look settled.
I was preparing myself for it to be really difficult from what I'd heard, but I've been toughened from years of male rat introductions. This has been a nice surprise that it wasn't as stressful for any of us as I was expecting!
Girl is filling the void with pets (same)
Why make friends when you can buy (adopt) them 🤷🏻♀️
The cat serves a purpose too. I love both human friends and animal friends.
Are you going to breed them?
I doubt it why rescue then breed more ??@Aisha-721
@@Aisha-721he’s neutered. She also doesn’t breed
So happy they’ve bonded well 🎉
Me too 🥹

Chinkvhille are cute
I was quite disappointed when I saw you were going to stop owning rats, but your videos are so calming no matter what animal
Hopefully chinchilla videos can fill the void 🥹
🥰🤗🐹🐹❤
I dont understand why people claim chinchillas are fine on their own. I used to have 5 adults together, absolutely no issues and they always napped together, groomed eachother and really cared for eachother. Solo living chinchillas just sits there, and looks depressed imo. If you want to have solo living rodents, get a hamster (if you will take good care of it. im sick and tired of seing hamsters in small sad cages, being fed a poor diet and not having its basic needs fullfilled)
The chinchilla communities I have been in, have very poor information on chinchilla care, why is that? If you join the rat, hamster, guineapig etc communities, you will be able to find actually well documented researched information on how to care for them, and proper guidelines. But for chinchilla? Theee is little to nothing. Breaks my heart
I feel the same, yes they can be difficult to introduce sometimes but so can any social animal. I don’t get the whole craze of buying a chinchilla a fleece teddy and calling it a day as if that can replicate social company. The difference in my chinchillas since I put them together is night and day 😍
@@Emiology you are really one of my absolute favourite pet-channels. The care and the effort and research you do, is right up my ally! I got so happy when I saw you got chinchillas, because I just know you will be a positive addition in the chinchilla community. I had to leave the chinchilla communities and do my own thing, because for some reason, there isnt much proper information on how to care for them, which sadly means that people are okay keeping them however they see fit :(
What bedding do u use w ur mice? Xx
Snowflake shavings!
@Emiology thanks!
The house attached to the roof of Nimbus’s cage where is that from and the one with hay in it please?
The square one on the roof is from mychinchilla and the hay one is called a sky bridge I think and it’s from pet ledges U.K. 😊
@@Emiology thank you. I meet Nimbus when I visited my friend Jodie. I wanted to take all the chinchillas. I came away with more rats.
Hi Emi! I was wondering if you could maybe make a discord server, so that it's easier to talk and ask questions and stuff?:D
I’ve never used discord but I do have an Instagram group chat for channel members 😊
@@Emiology oh, I don't have instagram☹
I have lots of rat cage accessories and some cages. Would they want them?
Maybe! They don’t have much room to store stuff so best asking first to see 😊
🤍
Did you get rid of your rats I noticed the chinchillas have the rat cage?
Nope, it’s the same type of cage I just bought another one
Is one of them fixed or are they going to be having babies?
He’s neutered
@@Emiology you are actually the best for proper animal care I always share your videos with others thank you for all you do your advice is much needed and appreciated 🙏🏼💛🙏🏼 also we can manifest through our intent and words this little one was manifested to you by you bless your soul
Well Done going to a Genuine Animal Rescue! - You did real research (not just on-line stuff)
and I trust your knowledge and judgement.
awww theyre both so cute
Hello ive another question for the rats what is it you use and use to hold together for a deeper tray polly glass or something?
Perspex. I have a video on my channel explaining how I did it 😊
I know chins are recommended to be kept in pairs, however I haven't gotten a 2nd after my last ones brother passed away and don't want to have to rehome another if I get another and he doesn't end up being able to do bond with my existing one and I don't have the space for a 2nd large cage. Also trying to find someplace here in the states that neuters chins either for a reasonable price OR at all some vets won't even do it unless it's for something life threatening.
btw if he's 10 - 12 you'd still have (baring anything severe healthwise) you can still get another 8 - 10 years of life from them).
Your chinchillas are beautiful
So so glad their bond worked!! What pellet food are you feeding them!?❤
Science selective!
@@Emiology thank you!! ☺️
hi emi! I was at the petstore when I saw a spray bottle meant to make the coats of small animals softer. i was wondering if it was safe for mice. ( the brand is Zymox )
I’m not sure if it’s safe but it won’t be necessary 😊 coat condition can be linked a lot to their diet so that might be worth looking at if they’re not soft, also genetics. I give my dog and cat salmon oil and I know some people give similar oils to their rats to make them softer 😊
@@EmiologyOk thank so much!!
