I put this on my Christmas wishlist when it was re-released in the early 2000s. Some relatives were surprised I picked it over the newer, flashier King Leo's Castle, but I never regretted it. It formed a great starting point/addition for my own castle builds, and the minifigures are still some of my favorites.
Oh wow!! That is awesome. I wish I would've paid more attention to Lego during that time/era. But I had stopped collecting. At least I now have an all-original set! Good luck with your collecting!
That is probably the original flag. It most likely survived because it wasn't stored on the pole for 30 years. The clips on the old flags almost always fail if you leave them attached to anything. That flag was only included in this set. (The 2002 re-release was slightly different with a pointy bottom for the crest.) Congrats on the set and thanks for making this video!
Oh-- you're absolutely right! All the pieces were pretty clean, neat and tidy - and separated correctly. So yeah, that must be what it is!

Man I really like this set even though I never owned it I always used to think the set didn't have enough horses and should have had a peasant but great review as always and I am excited to see where you place this in the castle kingdom also 100th video
Yeah it should have a peasant - because of the 'living quarters' section - you're right! But by itself it's a little too small. Now, I love adding walls to it, and then there's plenty of room for more horses and peasants for sure!

21:30 Name Black Knights Castle is way better and correct name then dungeon masters castle.
Yes - however, when I ordered 6086 set as a kid, and in the catalogs - it was called 'Dungeon Masters Castle' lol. Which is a more creative name, but sort of misleading to the faction's name 😆
