Saved this video to a playlist so I can reference it again later. It's a one-stop shop for so many dough recipes: pancake/waffle, biscuit, pizza, naan, English muffin, "regular" bread, and rolls. (Not to mention the from-scratch syrup, marmalade, mayo, and salad dressing.) This is a fantastic resource. Thank you!
I am so impressed by how many different things you were able to make so far. I can hardly wait for Part 2. I have four of those small loaf pans you used and I believe they will be just perfect for me to have a wee loaf of bread, freezing the rest. I am widowed and live alone. Thanks for this video! Diane in NC
You're welcome, Diane! I'm loving those little loaf pans too. I'm excited to finish part 2 so I can post it as well! I am enjoying seeing what all the $80 is making! I hope you're staying warm up there in New York ❤️
@@rachelresets Actually, I'm in North Carolina. Not as cold as New York, but less than a week ago, the nightly temp did get down to 11 degrees...very unusual for Iredell County where I live. I was raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, so I am pretty used to cold weather. I'm sorry for the folks up north! Diane
@jimmiepatrum Whoops, that was my fault I saw NC and thought I saw NY 🙈 I know weather has been pretty cold and now warm and rainy. I hope you have a wonderful week! 🥰
If you will take a ring that screws onto a canning jar, spray it well with a cooking spray, break your egg into it, sprinkle it with S&P then bake it on a sheet pan or in a skillet. Then you can have the perfect shape egg to fit your breakfast biscuit or English muffin. You can do the same thing with your sausage patty too.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it and love hearing that the ideas and recipes will be useful for you! Thanks for the positive feedback! 🥰
A great video!! Full of the best ideas for make ahead help! I love this. So helpful! Making mayo, salad dressing and the marmalade is really genius! Thanks for sharing this! Be well and stay safe!
Thank you! I hope you're doing well and staying safe too! I had a lot of fun trying to make several things I've wanted to try making but hadn't gotten to try making yet. 🤔 Definitely fun to see how each ingredient can open so many doors to make even more things. So good to hear from you! 🥰
Oh wow!! Thank you so much!! Your encouragement and support means a lot to me! 🥰 I hope you're having a fantastic week, and hope to have part 2 up soon!
You know over in the Mexican aisle food you can get giant 32 oz of knorr bullions for almost the same price as those small ones. Will last a lot longer for less!!!! In Walmart!!!! i hav the beef ,chicken and the tomato chicken is very excellent flavor!!!!!! love those mini griddles ,have a variety of them in holiday shapes. Makes for a more fun breakfast in these hard times!!!!!
Very good! I save on my spice restoking By going to Dollar Tree or Ollie's. I don't have any around me, so I take a trip to DT and Ollie's when I visit my daughter.
Thanks so much! 😊 I always appreciate your encouragement ❤️ It's been fun to see the channel grow and learn how to film and create the videos better and better.
This is so helpful I have been making English muffins so good but I do have the small pans but didn't think about splitting my dough good ideas I have tried a copycat jiffy cornbread mix and we have been using that so good . Great job ready for part two . Missed the videos glad to see you 😊
Yum! Copycat jiffy mix sounds delicious 😋 This was my first time making English Muffins, and I plan on making them again. They were much easier than I thought they would be to make.
😅 It's definitely going to save me the 40 minutes thoughout the weeks when I want rice. It's so good to see you! I'm hoping I can get part 2 posted later this week if I can finish it in time. I hope you're doing well! 🥰
Thank you, Kathy! I'm loving learning how a lot of things are made and getting to try my hand at trying making new things. 😊 I hope you have a fantastic week!
Love your videos, they help me prep more and has made my life so much easier. You made so many meals from your groceries that I have more ideas to incorporate. Thank you soooo much for sharing with us. Hope you have a great week.💕
Just found your channel. Just subscribed. The smile 😃 on the pancakes is adorable!! Love these ideas throughout the video!! I didn’t realize that making homemade sausages gravy was so easy. I will try it.
Extending produce life: Wrap your lettuce and celery in aluminum foil, wrap the banana stem end tightly in a plastic bag, place that in another plastic bag twisted shut to keep other veggies from ripening them & store in the refrigerator and put your cleaned green onions in a tall glass of water to prolong their life-change the water every couple of days.
Missed you too! I've been working on the planning for this for months, and I'm just excited to finally get to post again 🥰 Hopefully I can get the next part out soon 😉 Hope you're doing well, my friend!
Vinegar just makes the batter fluffier in my opinion. It is not equal to baking powder. As long as I am concerned vinegar is also used in baking industry to prevent molding. :) ❤
Interesting - I was working from information Google told me, but I believe you are right that it does not act like baking powder when combined with baking soda. I like adding a bit of vinegar in biscuits sometimes to make them taste like buttermilk biscuits. Thanks for the info! 😊
I'm an empty nester so this vid title def called to me. Love the idea for smiley face pancakes! I've never seen anyone make orange marmalade so that was interesting!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was my first time making orange Marmalade, but now that I know how, it won't be the last 😊 Thanks for the feedback!
When i learned several yrs ago i could very easily make my own salad dressing I also learned the easiest best method to really make it quick and easy: Take any small glass jar with a lid put your ingredients in it and the lid on and shake the heck out of it---you're done.
I adore the many recipes shared here esp the one for orange marmalade which is not one i'd normally run across. I saw one you shared for apple peel preserves, meant to save it but forgot. Do you have more gems like this in your repertoire? If so please share them. They are easy, frugal & useful.
Rap your lettuce in tin foil and it will keep for weeks. I've had it go two months and didn't turn at all. If you will use a dry paper towel I'm your salad bag it will keep better than a wet paper towel.
Great tip! I will have to try that! It's probably a bit late for the Lettuce I have already to really see the full effects of tin foul instead of the plastic bag, but I will try it next time. Thanks for sharing the tip! 🥰
That's fair 🥰 I wanted to keep some whole and have some scrambled, but that would be a good way to make a big batch of sandwhiches. Thanks for the suggestion!

So smart to get yourself some tea for a nice morning beverage. I would definitely have to include coffee, sugar, and cream. Very nice video. 😊
Thank you! I love coffee too, but had an idea of some ways to use the tea so ended up going with that this time around. 😉

Great idea!! I've found some great deals at Ollie's in the past too. 😊
Tip for waffles and pancakes. Add a flavored instant oatmeal packs into your batter for flavored pancakes or waffles

If you have a stick blender, you can put the ingredients for mayo in a jar and just whip it together. I find it easier than dribbling in the oil.
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing that! 👍
You have some great ideas and I’m loving all the meals that you’re able to come with.. Looking forward to part 2 of the video. ❤❤
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! 😊 I hope to have part 2 out this next week.

I'm hoping to have it out tomorrow evening, barring technological difficulties 😁
Try making your gravy with 1/2 water add 1/2 milk. Oh yes it does taste good plus it stretches your milk.

So much easier to crack all your eggs in a pan scrambled them and bake for 20 mins and cut them for your sandwiches
