Well, in one interview Jerry said that Robert was drunk here and they made great TV but it's sure painful to watch. Wow, didn't know that he had sandy hair. His later appearance was close to greasy Latin lover. So it was fake all along. He made couple great cover songs.
@JamesLacerenza Well actually James, I'm with Walter on this one. I watched it looking forward to seeing one of the greatest voices of the 20th century - and Lewis walked all over his act like the total idiot that he is. On another MDA show, he mocked and made fun of another fine singer, Dick Haymes. Back in the 1950s, while still with Dean Martin, he also annoyed the legendary Bing Crosby so much that Crosby never bothered with him for the rest of his life. Lewis was a man of massive ego, but truly minimal talent.
@JamesLacerenza To each their own James...but that's probably why Dean left him too - and had a much more successful career than Lewis ever did from that point.
Seriously, do you really think this wasn’t planned? They are having fun!

Look at those eyebags Bob, RIP Robert! Jerry smoking everytime he can, I love this era!
True story . RG was drunk . Saw a interview about it . And JL tried to help it .!!
I love Goulet but this is painful! Jerry sensed the unpreparedness and really hammed it up.
He was drinking hard during this period and it showed.
Jerry is plain annoying. This is insulting.

Jerry Lewis being a bore and ruining the show for everyone.Pathetic.
Sometimes Jerry Lewis really isn't that funny! And Mr Goulet was off his normal game,
Jerry Lewis was an awful human being.
