Note*** you will need slightly longer screws to secure gauges to gauge pods.
dynademos where do you get the longer screws for the gauges?
No One Lowe’s/home depot/ ace bring a stock screw to match I think it should be a 8/32-3/4 long screw
I had an issue on mine with the gaskets not setting well into the pods and went with an 8-32 1" screw and snugged it up tight.

You had the “v inner” show up on your speedo when you started it. I had that too. Ended up being a shorted out battery tender cable. I removed it, and no more slow starts or “v inner” on the speedo.

Nope. I got some tall risers and made my own custom wire extension for the gauge and used that as the clamp. It's right in front of my face.

My 2004 dyna superglide just has the single speedo guage on the bars. I badly want to add a tach so it has dualguages but haven't been able to find anything. I have the Tsport fairing and love the way the dual gauges look hoping I can find something
Go to your local Harley and ask them what tach part number would work
02 dyna super t sport: stock gauge hanging up shows empty at 3/4 full. Is there any trick to pull & check(replace gasket or anything),please? I don't have the $$ for a new fancy upgrade 🙁
Hey guys I really appreciate all your videos even if I get Sportster but my biggest question is why people who are there gauge Mount on the tank whant it so much moving on to their handlebar it's such a freaking pain in the ass to deal with for me on my Sportster I'm really curious about it

Only draw back I can think of is now I don’t have an excuse when I’m speeding. But seriously having the gauges higher is awesome no longer have to take my eyes off the road and the gauge buckets by knscustoms are angled so u will not have a glare in your face. Great video guys. The gauge cluster on the tank is such a bad spot and this is a really nice upgrade. BTW, I can't make out the logo on my screen but what brand / model saddle are you runner there?

Great video, that was really helpful..thats the only thing I don't like about my bike, looking down is a pain in the ass and dangerous aswell..do you know of any other dash panels that would suit. I didn't really like the finished product with just the blockout plate..we have limited options for parts in Australia so I'll probably have to source out some parts from over there..Thanks for sharing👍
Dane Yourell big bear choppers has a blockoff plate they make kinda pricey imo. Kns customs which is what I have, he will work with you if you need something else great guy highly recommended hopefully this helps ✊🏽

I got the same kit/bars/bike. How did you route the clutch and brake cables to keep them out of the way? looks handy because im running the JD t-sport fairing with a plex audio. not much room. Im about to install the guage relocation this week.

Langerang that’s a great question. I don’t wanna lie to you and act like I know exactly. I have never done a road king. A great person to ask would be kns customs and/or guerilla cables via email or Instagram. I know the harness from guerilla cables would be plug and play but I’m not sure exactly if there is more to it than the dyna sorry we couldn’t be more help. If you’re in North Carolina come over and we will figure it out ✊🏽👍🏽

Do you know what that grey sensor you took off the stock harness and plugged into the new one does? Just did this on my ‘14 lowrider and the same plug for my bike had wire in it and was located in the frame top tube with the main harness connector.
How would these work on a fxdb that only has one single gauge instead of the two like your fxdls ??

What’s a good way to figure out bar height? I’m trying to figure out which lucky Dave’s bars to get so my arms are parallel to the ground like yours
sixfoothobit I’m 5’8 and I have 13 in lucky 13’s you may be able to call customer service though and they could prob recommend a bar height for you based on your height and what you’re trying to do hope this helps I know it’s not a straight answer. Ride safe 🏍✊🏽
I sat on my bike and held out a tape measure off the triple tree where the bars mount and lined it up roughly to where i wanted my hands to sit. Im 5'11 200lbs and a 14" T bar sits my arms perfectly out straight at shoulder height. Hope this helps
Hey man. I’ve looked at guerilla cables but don’t see a lot for a 2006+. I have a 2007 fxd I’m assuming this 2014 to 2017 wouldn’t work on a 2007 right

I have a ‘14 dyna with a single gauge (analog speed with digital tach).. I want two analog gauges, like this.. any ideas? I suspect if I get low rider gauges and call guerrilla, maybe they can make it work
I believe it’s as simple as picking up guerilla cables wiring harness meant for dual gauges. The tricky part will be finding to oem Harley gauges that won’t cost an arm and leg.
Hey man I got a question? Bought these gauge pods from KNS like you did. My gauges won’t fit with the gaskets, reached out to them and they said not to use the gaskets. I noticed in this video you did use the gaskets.
These were the older style pods which u would use the gaskets the newer style they sell u do not use the gaskets

You know if it’ll fit the quarter fairing with a Plex Audio already installed? Got a LR-S with 14’ Lucky Dave’s bars.
Edwin Rivas yes U can slide the gauge pods up and down. As long as you have a little room towards the top of your bars it will definitely fit 👍🏽
Sorry guys but a big no-no. Always remove the negative cable first. Conversely, when you are finished, install the negative cable last.

Hello, I am currently about to do the same for my 2020 lowrider s with lucky daves lucky 13s ( 13 inch bars ). I am running into an issue as to what length of cables do I order from guerrilla cables. The three lengths they offer are 22, 25 and 28 inch. What length did you use on yours since you are running the same bars and height? Thank for your time.
We did not need to order extended wiring harness except for the gauges. On their site should be labeled what one u need if it comes in different lengths hold your bars up to your bike and measure from the top of the bar to the bottom and add a few inches to be safe this should get you what length u need.

Hit up kns customs let him know the setup u have. Year make model and bar setup and he will get u squared away it depends on what bike u have and bar setup
I have the fxdls, with lucky 13 bars. What size Gauge pod did you guys go with, the T bar pull back? Also, what are the "visors" on the gauge they talk about on the site? Thanks
The visor option is new I believe it is a lil visor that goes over the top to help with glare but he already angles the bracket to reduce glare as far as what size email him or dm him on insta for your exact setup he is super helpful

You have to buy a gauge from Harley then buy the harness from guerilla cables it’s listed on their site

Josh Zavaleta not sure man. Are all dyna models 99-05 harness the same? Maybe check another model to see if compatible and look on ebay? I’m sure you have already done this though. Sorry couldn’t be more help. Good luck.

dynademos 2017. I wanna convert my single gauge to a duel gauge. Pretty much the same set up but for My Street bob
Mark Pineda 24080-1004 this is the harness u will need from guerilla cables. It is recommended that you use the Harley-Davidson tachometer (OEM #67000010), gasket, and hardware. Then u can get the block off plate and gauge pods from kns customs let me know if this helps u

Old dash looks dum with the console blanked out, should remove it and replace with a leather tank strap. Best option though expensive would be to replace tank with one with center filler.
I plan to get either a dash eliminator or get the same type but with a cut out for a powervision all about preference

crewgadjy if u are familiar with big bear choppers they have a dash eliminator something like that but it’s all preference man that’s my point how my bike looks right now it u check out our insta I’m happy with it ima focus on performance here on out and stackin miles but I always do appreciate people’s opinions

ImChrisHansen yeah if I remember correctly parts was over 400 definitely ain’t cheap lol I bought everything around winter so everyone was doing sales depending on parts you can spend more or less. I’ll never pay for labor though unless it’s to change a tire onto the rim
