No doubts about,what you said.As We know Dr.KJY,a drunken artist,appeared in shanmughanada hall Bombay for a program organised malayalee association with huge donation and high value tickets.He spoiled the entire show,during 1977,we lost faith on him,thereafter he sung for filim chik chor and some other filims.

That's true...But he said this in early 2000's..When he reached his 60's he felt strain in his voice (this is evident in film songs of early 2000's) but through food control he was able to get his range back.. Younger days doesn't mean his golden peak time (1970-1996)...He used to effortlessly sing in all pitches in those times!
Das sir is a pure vegetarian and avoids alcohol consumption till now, Das sir had said once in an interview that his voice has cracked once in a classical concert and it was the first and final concert that his voice cracked, he said that it is due to the chicken curry ate in previous night that made his voice crack.
He is not a vegetarian.. he use chicken curry to strengthen his voccal cords also following blood group diet.. completely avoiding wheat because he is in A positive group
