Long fingernails in African Americans may be a privilege that they uses to express their freedom from manual labor. long, decorated acrylics were more common in African Americans before they became mainstream. Yep, there is no sensible rationale for disabling and limiting oneself for the sake of ( in my view) a pointless Guinness world record that adds zero to the quality of this woman's life, and wellbeing. But, I guess we all need a purpose to our oftentimes rather mundane existence. She has found hers, so for that, I can't fault her. And she appears happy!

Too bad she lives in the United States, because Canadian nickels, dimes and quarters are magnetic and she could have easily used a magnet to retrieve them!
