I am so sorry for the loss of her daughter, but she needs to go to counseling for this. This isn’t healthy for her or anyone else. I read an article about her and she even had to stop driving because of her nails. I’m sure her family has to do a lot of the things she can’t do because of her nails. I've lost 2 daughters... That's a piss poor excuse. There are many other ways to memorialize someone. I planted a crape myrtle tree for one daughter, Pamela. She died in her sleep at 25 years old and for my Amanda, I planted a rose bush. I also have a tattoo of a rose, with a banner that has my daughter Amanda on it, with a hummingbird and have a tattoo drawn up to get put in my other arm for my Pamela. It's unhealthy to have nails like that. She needs to see a therapist, first and foremost! I get people deal with grief in different ways, but this nail thing is ridiculous. She could use the color her daughter painted, paint them her daughter's favorite color, get a tattoo of 💅 and her daughter's name and favorite flower instead of what she did. I feel her pain, as it's a pain that nobody understands, but you can't do things like that as it's unsafe and unhealthy. Unless she has hired a very personal caregiver to wipe her, shower her, etc, her hygiene would be nasty! Imagine the bacteria 🦠 and stuff in them nails. They may get painted once a week, but are they thoroughly cleaned and disinfected?

Women with extremely long nails love and treasure their beauties like one would a beautiful garden or someone who restores a classic car...all of which takes many years of practice and dedication. As a matter of fact I do have some experience as a stay at home caregiver for my late wife and I would be more happy to help this amazing woman in anyway I can so she can continue to happily keep and treasure her nails.
This woman need to bear her grief and soul to God, He is there for all of us, what she's doing to herself is making herself suffer, she's has to believe that it's not her fault about her child, and God has her daughter, as He will have all of us one day, He is the only that can give life and tale it up again. So her hurt and pain she is sharing with those fingernails is torture for her emotionally and physically, . Lady please turn to God for the comfort you so very much need, but if you blaming yourself or blaming God you will destroy yourself, you're not healing, you seem to me suffering even more. I've lost 2 daughters... That's a piss poor excuse. There are many other ways to memorialize someone. I planted a crape myrtle tree for one daughter, Pamela. She died in her sleep at 25 years old and for my Amanda, I planted a rose bush. I also have a tattoo of a rose, with a banner that has my daughter Amanda on it, with a hummingbird and have a tattoo drawn up to get put in my other arm for my Pamela.
It's unhealthy to have nails like that. She needs to see a therapist, first and foremost! I get people deal with grief in different ways, but this nail thing is ridiculous.
She could use the color her daughter painted, paint them her daughter's favorite color, get a tattoo of 💅 and her daughter's name and favorite flower instead of what she did. I feel her pain, as it's a pain that nobody understands, but you can't do things like that as it's unsafe and unhealthy. Unless she has hired a very personal caregiver to wipe her, shower her, etc, her hygiene would be nasty! Imagine the bacteria 🦠 and stuff in them nails. They may get painted once a week, but are they thoroughly cleaned and disinfected?
