Just got back from Tokyo, Japan last June 12 after a long week of vacation. Thoroughly enjoyed it and we are going to go back this November 2024. We are contemplating on either going to Shibuya Sky or Tokyo Skytree and upon watching this video, we are definitely going to Tokyo Skytree. Excited much and cant wait till November!!

Both are great to visit. Tokyo Tower might be old but it’s still worth visiting. The shopping area and food court are fairly small so it can be crowded at times. Skytree has much better shopping and dining options so it might be good to visit it a few times. I don’t recommend the Sumida Aquarium though. It was quite underwhelming. It’s fairly small and doesn’t justify the price. If you have kids with you, they’ll probably enjoy it.

I got lucky when I was there in 2019 and the lights came on while I was on the outside.
