- Part 2 of the Suzuki Launch in Valencia for the GSX-8R and the GSXS-1000GX!
After riding the 8R, and a lunch break, I followed a group around more twisty Spanish landscape on the brand new GSXS-1000GX. Surprisingly this was a challenge for the cute-little-sports-bike enthusiast, and it took a while to make friends with this bike. In the end, some sugar and a pep talk worked a small miracle and we got on ok!
You rode to Norway on your own, you are doing a lot more than most of us, don’t let your head get in the way , great video and lovely scenery 😊
Such a good point, I did do that, thank you for reminding me 😅😁
@@R1_Lizexactly, YOU did it 👌
Turned out nice in the end 😊
I would have loved to hear something more about the bike, actually
If you like the hills around there, you'd love the Picos de Europa - so glorious it's become an annual pilgrimage.
You did well to carry on after a difficult start and I look forward to you going on more new bike releases in the future.
Thanks! Turns out I just needed some sugar - who’d have guessed 😅 Lucia has inspired me to carry sweets wherever I go now.
Ahh so pretty dream bike
Unfamiliar roads, rain, riding on the right and I guess not much chance to get comfortable with a new bike before chasing off in a pack. Bit of a nightmare really. But no broken fingers or toes so all good. Thank God for Haribo. Entertaining as always😊
Very brave, I have so much respect for you, that would be my worst nightmare having to keep up with people on those twisties. I may have been riding for 48 years but I ride at my own pace and hate being pushed. Great review and what a blast to be invited to this. I rode down to Barcelona in January and loved it, so quiet and cheap and very warm. Spain was made for bikers.
Seriously Seriously consider doing a vocal ASMR video for funzies. Your overdub narration settings are perfect for it. Stereo seperation, the central mid frequency clarity, the spacial soundstaging of the narration. It's a winner!
15-20mins of a whispered story (or softly spoken), low light fixed images or even a black screen etc, no need to be on camera as it were. Nothing to lose in trying. X
I’m so confused is this some kind of negativity or genuine advice 😬
Hi liz loving your UA-cam channel. Congratulations to you for getting a suzuki test be very proud of yourself you are a very talented lady and you can certainly ride a bike happy lady's day keep up the good work. Love watching you ❤ride safe
Thank you! Glad you like my channel 😁💖
A real-world review from an articulate, entertaining real-world rider. A refreshing change from the usual formulaic sycophancy of other channels.
What the fuck are you on about
I'm sure you'll get loads of advice on here about rain riding. So here's mine, there's rarely a bad tyre out there, relax and grip lightly. You'll find confidence comes with practice .. Good luck Liz 👍🏻
Thanks! Few things can’t be improved with practice, one day I won’t even notice the rain, hopefully
Yes I enjoyed the video.
Strange bike, wet road. You did well. 😊
OMG Liz You’ve Got more balls than me 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I was shitting myself just watching that 😢😢 you should be so proud of yourself 👏👏not only on the wrong side of the road 😂🤣 but in the wet. Great work you go girl. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love this and really hope you can do more launches!
How did the bike compare to Pinky… were you impressed with the engine and riding position or are you not convinced about it as a sportsbike alternative?! 😇
Thanks! I hope so too, it was fun and I imagine these events improve your confidence over time and would benefit my riding as well as my video content.
I’m much more comfortable with lower bars, I like being tucked in, so although I’m happy riding big upright bikes I am not ‘at home’ on them. I do imagine for a person looking within this genre it’d be a strong contender, it is a fun ride with a responsive yet forgiving engine and the bike doesn’t feel like a big heavy lump despite being over 200kg and slightly taller than others in its category.
Well done you 👍
Engine sounded revy, what did you think? Did the power come in all of a sudden? Did you get to take it down a long straight and feel the acceleration?
Not a fan of wet twisties myself, takes me ages to settle into them so don't beat yourself up.
You want roads like that (& tighter) try a trip with Canary Motorcycle tours. Great value & ideal for beating the winter blues
What tyres Liz ??
I am in Andalucia at the moment, east of Malaga
Best biking roads anywhere, just not that popular due to distance to get to is 1200 miles
👋😘
eye perfer t0 b last in line.
🤗
Be one with the machine😅
I’m not even at one with myself 😅
How tall are you ?
5’7
@@R1_Liz nice, i am 5"8 i was worried it might be too tall for me, i really like this motorcycle a lot, nice review 👊🏼🙂
Chuck it in neutral then stall it shortly after.... its ok nobody is watching ;)
You go all that way and its still raining lol
