Kudermetova taking a picture of the mark was maybe the best thing ever, especially considering the awful call that was made earlier in the match
@montyJB38 no shes not(
@montyJB38 she won...
@@PeterNash99 real talk ahhahahha
Oof... some gamemanship from Gauff. She only stopped play to challenge when she saw Sakkari had the shot to win...
She was definitely moving to play until then.
Putintseva seems to be the expert at throwing her racquet without breaking it
practice makes perfect
It costs €1k
She is environmentally friendly 🥳
Now Putintseva in this thumbnail, life is complete for at least another week.
@Lubomir Radev thanks? Didn't know I was here for your entertainment. Look somewhere else if you want a "fun comment?" Not sure what you're on right now.
@Lubomir Radev As if your comments such as "Is Kudermetova bringing all the animals or do they just love her that much" doing any different? It's UA-cam dude. Go be pressed somewhere else. I don't have time with your bullshit.
it's annoying that gauff knew she was wrong as well, she quite literally took 5 seconds to even point it out and realised she wouldn't make the second shot. sakkari racquet was right back ready for the winner then gauff said something.
İt was one of the saddest matches for Sakkari, she rarely smashes her racket
I don’t know how is the rule, but for me she is right. If i run,hit the ball, check the mark and for me the ball is out I have all the rights to call the ball out. She did’t even hit the ball
it was still before sakkari hit her shot. that’s the rule
@@Moro-qd5sr Sakkari is right regardless of whether her shot is in. Gauff looked at the next shot to check if Maria would win the point and then called out, that’s against the rules.
Yeah Sakkari should definitely have won the point, even though her return was out! idiot
Sometimes I wonder if tennis players watch themselves in these videos
Maybe they're normal people with mobile phones and internet
They do, and they rub one out as they watch
everytime i watch an ATP player interview video with zverev i wonder if he reads the comments xD
Sometimes I cringe just thinking about a memory about myself showing really bad behavior on court. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have an actual video of yourself that are watched by thousands of people.
@@sophier1552 they are just a snapshot of time and hopefully are actually a force for good for the players to improve their on court behavior. i don’t think they feel bad about them
OMG Perez,Zheng really were so wrong and still discussing for 3 minutes that the umpire made the wrong decision not checking the mark.Staring at the mark while the return is floating out is stopping the point?Every recreational player knows, that those chics are making fools of themselves.Laughable.
It looks like they actually dont know the rules and it got applied at them for the first time
Perez split steps, she's playing the point. That was clown shoes
At least Perez looks good doing it. Zhengs bf is in the audience thinking why on earth did I choose the ugly one with those terrible goddamned glasses
The umpires need to start facing consequences for making bad calls.
are you kidding? they are paid low as fuck (almost everyone has another job) for a job that they need to train years and years. Chair umpire is a pyramid of licences where it takes you more than 10 years to get the top level matches and solid umpiring performances. If a match has thousands of balls and events a couple of bad calls can be passable. Also every clear mistake is noted but usually these are just interpretations. You are biased by the fact that players have too much power to give shit to them. Just look at serena williams who victimised against an umpire years ago - and he got fired for serena being an absolute bully, because she can afford to. Honestly what should be done is empower umpire authority, and you do this by making it a full time better-paid job, enhancing competition and thus selecting truly the best. The system now is based more on experience rather than skill and the pay is just too low to really "form" top level infallible umpires. Do you know what their wage is ? 450 dollars per day on GRANDSLAMS. It's 0.0x % of what players earn
@@fumziemusic There are two sides of a coin and you are totally right tennis umpires are not paid what they deserve maybe the most lowest in professional sports. This issue must be solved golden badge umpires should earn at least 100k per annum like nba refrees and minimum for umpring should start from 20k per annum. Having said that it is not an excuse to refuse to see that there are so many bad umpring around the courts especially in low level tournaments. Technology and changes in rules can help
@@fumziemusic it's worth considering the salary increase or even the total professionalization of the umpire, after all, these two categories (WTA and ATP) make billions every year together, but that's no excuse for mistakes or you're telling me they "make mistakes on purpose" for having a terrible salary.
@@alancosta4760 i was going to say something like this. If you dont like what they Pay, look for another job and stop being useleesss on court. A simply mistake from the umpire can decide a Game. And lately these years, i,ve seen much more bad umpires than good ones
No, they don’t. They need to be removed
The video ended on a really poetic note.
" Oh no, hope there's no more checking of marks !!!"
Lol.
his voice was literally quivering xD
Umpire: the ball was in
Cornet: I'M DYING OF DECEPTION YOU RUINED MY LIFE OH MY GOD I'M NOT GOOD I'M PASSING AWAY
🤣🤣🤣🤣
kudermentova taking a pic of the mark is so funny
It was, though I’m surprised she didn’t get a time violation!
she will be fined for this. and u cant get "double sanctions" on tennis. its ether time violation or unsportmanlike, u cant get both on the same action
@@obamainpotin6759 Ah that makes sense. I did wonder if that was the case.
@@obamainpotin6759 okay but it’s funny
Doing a Paire
8:54 After watching this, I am definitely switching to Babolat (Putintseva's brand). Babolat; the racquet you cannot break, even if you wanted to.😅😁 The look she gave at the racquet after the third throw at the end was priceless!
9:40 The ball is hit right after the bounce, so it's physically impossible for the line judge to shout "out" so quickly that it influences Pera's shot. Kudermetova should have argued like this to the umpire. I wonder what the umpire's reaction would have been to that...
I agree but I don't think the umpire would have changed his call. They (almost) never do.
Take it like a winner and a true athlete!
No spoiled wining bitch
It's one of the most clear cut cases. No ambiguity on wheter the call affected or not the shot. Some umpires (and players) are really dumb. The one simple thing the umpire has to consider and he gets it wrong.
I was crying when she took a photo, umpire was shook 😂😂😂
In the ATP version we have Paire, in the WTA we have Cornet. Brilliant.
I thought Putintseva is the "Wta Paire"
No its definitely Putintseva
I was about to say putinseva is WTA paire without a doubt 😂
More like Troicki...
Not even close. She isn’t yelling, spitting and smashing racquets. There is no comparison.
When Putintseva enters racquet shop, all shelves are trembling
Yulia was actually "calm" in this one, believe it or not, even throwing the racket without its breaking, given it's on clay. The shocker was Veronika's taking the photo during the match; she must have gotten that idea from Polona Hercog from last year, but Hercog did it after the match was done.
I don't understand how they can always know which mark is in question on these clay courts. Wouldn't there theoretically be tons of marks near those lines? How do they know for sure they're not looking at a similar, nearly identical mark that was left earlier? Never been a fan of mark checking, give us hawkeye or real bounce on clay
Stop lying Cornet, he said "fault" way after you hit the ball.. Toujours la a faire du cinéma..
She has the honesty of a politician and the nostrils of a rodent
It should have been replay though
5:13 Two people yelled when Cornet was returning the serve the umpire was trying to do what exactly?? They should’ve replayed the point.
No, I think it's just Cornet grunting when she's hitting the ball at first(not someone yelling).. then she hits the ball and slightly after the linesman calls it out.. and then umpire corrects it.. imo the umpire is right
I think the first out call came from the crowd then she hits the ball long because she thought the serve was fault. The line judge only calls it after Cornet had already made her return. It's a tough break for Cornet but the umpire made the right call since if the call comes from the crowd point will not be replayed.
Um those two noises were her grunt…. Her return was not impacted by the out call
You are 100% wrong. Watch it again and you will m clearly hear the ball hit the racket before ANYONE vocalizes. Cornet is full of shit. #nostrildamus
I wonder, does it pay more to umpire a doubles match? That's twice the number of people ganging up on you.
11:43 Another student from Paire's school of tantrums.
lol the umpire didn't want her to bring her phone cause he didn't want to be proven wrong lmao
i feel like im underwater watching someone trying to talk to me win i watch ur videos
its impossible to live without the biggest drama queen putintseva😍😍😍
I enjoy seeing sakkari frustrated after she stole that point against pliskova who hit a clear smash at the Italian open. She showed no sportsmanship in that match so she deserves this.
11:44 What are you doing? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't stop laughing
Ostapenko is literally featured in all of the tennis drama videos. She is an unpleasant character with the weirdest facial expression when serving
Kudermetova thug life😂
10:54
"I show you..."
Lol 🤣
Definitely did ajhahahja
The best tenís channel is back !!
🙏💚
Cornet is literally in every single one of these videos
5:13 Another good call by the umpire! Call was after contact, not by a lot, but it was indeed after! I love when umpires don't give benefit of the doubt and don't take the easy way out and correct give the points when they are deserved. Cornet should have lost the point for sure!
wait: the spectator had to move his SPANISH - flag in a SPANISH- tournament away? Wow, we really dont have any other problems. Sad, sterile world.
I thought it was an Andalucia's flag together with Spain one, may bring some issues, Andalucia wants independence, as Cataluña and País Basco.
Yeah it should have been Palestinian or Israeli then it could have been there
Cornet must be joking that the call impacted her shot. Her return was halfway through the court when the call came.
Cornet is grunting when she's hitting the ball at first.. there is nobody yelling anything as people are saying.. then she hits the ball and slightly after the linesman calls it out.. and then umpire corrects it.. imo the umpire is right
Thank you! Love me some tennis drama 😂
🙏💚
11:44: Kudermetova taking a picture of a mark!!! And gets a code violation!
3:40 No no no, Zhang let the ball go CLEARLY! And the umpire was correct, the ball was instead already passing her by the time the call was made. Coach needs to shut it.
7:20 I agree with Sakarri on this one, this one the empire got wrong. Gauff committed to continuing play. Too much time passed and she was intently moving back to the center of the court. After that much time she could have just stopped the point without FOR SURE knowing the ball was out cause Sakarri had a sitter. Umpire got that one wrong. Lol umpire Zhang gets it wrong....shocker shocker! Lol!
That’s not the rule on clay. On clay you are allowed to play a shot and then visibly or verbally stop playing to check a mark up until your opponent has made contact with the ball. You have to realise that these players have minimal time to hit their shot then look at the lines and find the specific mark if the line judges didn’t make the call. Everything coco did was within the rules - if this was a hard court then it would be a different matter as you can’t wait to find a mark, hence the rule on hard court is you have to stop immediately. I hope that clears the situation up for you.
@@davidfox294 that’s what I figured because otherwise if she didn’t play the ball back before stopping play, she wouldn’t have a chance at replaying the point if it was indeed in, right?
Gauff is so a cheater!
Since early learning the trickys
The Putintseva corner was rather tame this week.
Zheng: no no no no no no no no no no no no 1:10
Who cares how late a call is? If the ball is out it's out. That should be the end of it
sakkari was totally right
Yes, Guff claimed fault because she saw she coudnt get the ball
Was it out or what i didn't understand?
@@itsmejda5618 yeah but it was to late to call it
@@souleymenmzk6219 thank you
Bullshit, if the return was out, it should be Gauff's point, no question
5:10 I hate this is even an argument. 99 times out of 100 the call comes after the player connects, yet they always complain
Yet, the umpire for Kudermetova had another opinion.. what a dumb umpire for real, should’ve been her point, not replay
I wanna see the picture
cornet is the tennis Karen
Kudermetova is the one taking a picture to show the manager.
Good work, Buddy.
🙏💚
It seems like taking pics of the marks is becoming a trend. Wonder if Paire was the first to initiate this.
Why not take a picture? Like she said, to show the supervisor.
Anyway, a lot of that drama would be avoided if they just put hawkeye in.
Because It would clear that most of umpires are useleesss. They fail a lot!!! I,ve wacth maaaany many many hours if tennis, im tennis coach, and i simply vant understand how this shit work. A Guy Who has probably never played tennis, and its many meters far than me and the línea judge, is trying to convince me that he wacth the Bounce better than me after thousands of games and being at cm of the líne. Ridicoulus
I think they should change the rules when the umpire chair or the line's chair have a wrong call the point should be replayed
Gauff cheating. She did run for the point, realised she had no chance and put her hand up when Sakkari was about to hit
Zhang is the worst umpire. Never do her job well
What about the flag issue?
I thought it was Andalucia's flag together with the Spain one
I wish clay courts would just use shot spot. I hate this checking the mark bs.
Gauff Sakkari incident is ridiculous
Who is the commentator in the kudermetova match
Slicky Cori Gauff, she stopped the point just when she saw her return was short and killed by Sakarri. I knew i dislike her for something. I hope Sakarri give her a lesson in RG if they played each other next.
9:40 OH BOY! I praised an umpire earlier in the video for correctly not replaying the point, this one was MAJORILY WRONG! LIKE IT WASNT EVEN CLOSE, the call was CLEARLY after Pera made contact, CLEARLY! This one was a big miss by the umpire. I get that some umpires replay the point cause it's the safer option when it's close (which still isn't right if the call came after, even if only slightly after it is STILL after)....but this one should have definitely been caught by a professional umpire. There is not excuse for this one honestly.
Sakkari is frightening.
And she also works out. She'll break your face!
@@williamford9564 typical one surface player, cannot do anything on grass or hardcourts so take it easy homie
They should be able to destroy One racket before a penalty is called.
Welcome back Putintseva
I'm normally an athiest, but Kudermetova makes me a believer. My goodness.
What do you mean?
@@giovil5708 Cutiemetova
he mean that she is so pretty
The fucking phone hahahah
Looooooove it
"Wata... wata ar u doin?" Hahahaha it was the best
I think Sakkari has learned quite a few things about racquet damage from the Pliskova incident a couple years ago. Must have given her some sort of shock and now she has picked up the habit.
Karolina scared the crap out of her that day
:44 I think Perez has shown up also in another video.
5:10 This guy has no idea about tennis .
what do the numbers in parentheses next to the names mean?
Seed in the tournament
I do not understand what the problem is to act honestly. Why do they want to get a point for free. Well, you didn’t hit the ball, or you didn’t stop the game, or you lost a point, so do it nobly. I don't respect such players. another scandal begins
I’m in love with Putintseva. Such a kind soul
Putintzeva needs some anger management she behaves badly in every match if she was one of my daughters I'd be disgusted and ashamed of her
why is so much drama and why are so many rule breakers....?
It is futile to argue with these incorrigible umpires - they will always have the last laugh.
the rule for the replay should change if an umpire mistake happens the point should be replayed to avoid these unnecessary arguments. In each scenario one player feels cheated. Furthermore there should be hawkeye system on all courts atp, wta ,itf could make an arrangement with companies to make it cheaper for the organizations. The mark issue on court clay is ridiculous
So if an ace is falsely called out when it's in, the point should be replayed?
Hawkeye is not going to solve anything. If it was used on clay, one player would challenge, the hawkeye would say "in" and the other player would point out at the mark and argue that hawkeye is wrong - it's somewhat less precise on clay courts than other surfaces, specially when it would matter most: whenever the ball bounces partly on clay, partly on the lines, which are made of a different material.
A better option would be video replay. These scenarios are quite rare and it would only take a maximum of 30 sec to verify/confirm
@@rafarequeni822 get your point but technology evolved if I am not mistaken in clay courts this system is tried and results were satisfactory
@@panagiotisanastasakis7908 You have a good point as far as ı see the arguments mostly not related with aces but it can be an exception but anyway replaying the point will avoid more unfair points rather than current rulings
El árbitro del partido de Alize Cornet tiene el mismo inglés que yo
Too many players these days are just dummy spitting and becoming Karens, asking for supervisors n crap.
Miss the days when they just played good tennis without the theatrics
wow what a dumb comment have you never heard of John McEnroe,Jimmy Connors,Lleyton Hewitt etc...
Seems weird that you’d go for a video entitled Clay Court Drama then
@@rudyray4833
Popped up on the suggestions, watched it and thought how ridiculous are these people
Zheng is the worst umpire ever
The umpire in Zhang’s one was a big wrong imo
kudermetova was %100 right. that was a terrible desicion from chair umpire. he should get ban after those terrible calls. that tournement was played on my country and im glad he is not Turk
Lostapenko is new Bartoli, I mean her body type
The umpire on sakkari,s match have maaaany many manymany videos like this, i dont understand how having hundreds of umpires, u have to keep ley work the one Who have troubles un everysingle match, and being wrong in every single match. I dont know how this sit worlks, but its hilarious. Someody have to take a look
Unsportmanship. All time, I don't know. Sakkari win the point.
Only in WTA, Sakari lost first set 6:1, she back 6:1 and she lost again 6:1, how !!
I hope in next video, we will see Krejcikova terrible sportsmanship. Beeing a Karen like Putintseva is nothing, comparing to beeing a cheater like Krejcikova.
Unfortunately I can't use Roland Garros content 😔
It's the same commentator who always tries to talk over the players lol. So irritating. The commentator might consider doing their explanations once the players have stopped talking.
And Cornet, as always, wrong :D
How was she wrong? Two linesmen called it out before ump overruled
