Thank you very much for this course! I passed the test 🙏🏾. However even with the online course and preparing for almost 4 months. I noticed questions that weren’t in the study guides. Overall this and the courses played the biggest roles!! Thank you
The manual and this video say ALL mosquitos need water to reproduce but then "The Floodwater Group" (in the manual) says the Aedes, Ochlerotatus & Psorophora mosquitos deposit their eggs on damp soil. This is a contradiction! I do definitely feel this video will help me pass the test though so thanks for posting it!
They need water to complete their life cycle. Eggs of some species may be laid on soil but they don't hatch until covered with water. (From Rosmarie Kelly)
Trick Question; True or False..."Roadside ditches are part of the Transient Water Group"...True and False because the book says roadside ditches are both the Transient Water Group AND the Flood Water Group.
When transient means "lasting short time", why have a floodwater group and a transient group when they both mean the same exact thing? And salt marshes are labeled as floodwater??? Makes no sense, salt marshes get water every day with the tide, not a flood.
If you are taking the CAT 41 exam, it will be all mosquito and mosquito control questions. The core exam will be all general standards. I can’t give you any info about CAT 24.
@@bugd0c Gm! I’ll be taking the category 41 in about a month. Any idea of how many questions there maybe on the test? I’ve been studying the online course and this video along with one he did 4yrs ago at Clemson. Almost 6 months now.

do u have to have a Georgia applicator license first before getting your cat 41 license
Listening to this will help but it doesn't hurt to look over the manual and be sure you can answer the questions.

How many questions are on the exam? How many on general standards and cat 24?
