So I had read somewhere that if you know of an intersection with a problematic sensor you tend to be better off not hitting the sensor directly in the middle but off to the side as long as you still are over the sensor. On known traffic lights where I have experienced this problem that seems to work for me. At least here in southern California. But that's just been my experience.
I'd never heard of the Dead Red Law.... Always hated waiting at a red left turn here locally... THANKS!!!👍 "Does Oklahoma have a dead red law? The "dead red" rule also applies in Arkansas, Idaho, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin, which allow a motorcyclist to proceed with caution after coming to a complete stop through a red light that fails to detect the bike.Feb 19, 2019"
If a red light is taking too long in my car, I just go (after checking for motorcycles, of course)
