Could not agree more! And if you could recommend the BWF to use this view for every match they have it would have a huge impact on the spread of the sport. The bird is too small/light/fast for the far away tennis style/football viewing. The advantage of a small court is you can effectively use a close up view. It makes the viewing experience 10x better for everyone from the new viewers to avid players.

The camera set behind gives a proper view of the footwork you do and the shots you hit makes it easy to learn from the Olympic Champion !!!

I started watching badminton 8 years ago. The match that lead me to this sport was the one where you fought against Chen Long in the semi final of the Rio Olympic. Chen Long is my idol, that is undeniable. And I’ve always been a fan of Chen Long. However, 5 years later that match, you won against my idol. I was pretty interested in your play style. I went on youtube to search for your matches and then I realized that I love you the same way I appreciate Chen Long. You and Chen Long, at the same time, really inspired me. After Chen’s retirement, you are right now my only idol. I believe that Chen is a legend. And you are also a one. Cheer on your olympic gold medal. From Vietnam with love❤

The PoV from behind the French and Finnish gentlemen really shows the difference in level.
It must be stressful playing against Viktor, thinking you've hit a good shot and given him some pressure just to receive a flawless slice in return every time.

14:54 in this very moment, the other player shouldn’t have smashed, at least not directly at Axelsen (who doesn’t need to move to defend it), this is losing opportunity of getting Axelsen in a late position. The other player could have done a reverse for example and it would have been super surprising and hard to retrieve. If someone reads this, always be careful about how you can make your opponent move & surprise him.

Once you learn the basics and foundations, everyone is taught differently in their own country or culture of badminton. Not everything you see online or in person will obviously be the same as what you see in pros or other players. This is why he can still maintain good shot quality and timing despite not having a usual form that isn't taught. From years of training, he found what worked out best for him.
