I agree with #WeWantCody but if you're gonna say "the rock is overrated, he was never good" you dont deserve to be a wrestling fan.
He was a true great in the Attitude Era and when he was Hollywood Rock, but not in 2024 or even 2012 with those exact same catchphrases.
This new heel version of the Rock has the potential to be great however, and the talent is so clearly still there.

At one point, WWE tried to book a match between Triple H and the Rock, which was why Sting got jobbed out to Trips (So Vince could relive the Monday Night wars one last time!). Then Rock couldn't fit the match into his schedule.

I'm wondering if Rock returning for Wrestlemania is a bait and switch. He could be present for it but maybe Cody will be facing Roman. We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully he'll be a guest referee and will face Roman later on.
Whether this was initially done or not with the Cody stuff, WWE's job is too entertain and no matter if you are feeling happiness or anger, they've got you so just embrace the story no matter what side you're on but be respectful.

This is the problem; modern Rock bears zero resemblance in gimmick of the Rock of 00 when he was arguably the most over guy ever. Hes no where near as funny, edgy or charismatic.

Austin didn't do it alone either need stop the narrative that he saved wwf singlehandedly he was closely associated with Vince and had a good supporting cast in 98.
