I’m sorry but when you see someone taking out a calculator and doing math you know you are getting a reliable and fast motor!! It’s more than just wrenching all that knowledge he has. #Cuervoracing
Generally when you start with "I'm sorry" it is followed up by some sort of insult not a compliment lol And I agree, CR does seem like he knows his stuff
So you're changing the crank weight, rod and piston weight, and also grinding away at the counterbalance shaft? Won't this motor eat itself very quickly now that it's way out of balance? Or is that counterbalance shaft not used for the rotating assembly? how does the engine stay in balance to live longer than a few hours?
It stays balanced, because the grinding is on the back of them, on the shaft itself. The shaft doesn't make any counterweight. The weight stays identical on the exterior weight.
@@Vyper5 but how do you balance it to know that they are within weight now? Is there a way to balance the rotating assembly like there is on an automotive engine?
@@Henbervr you need in this case to keep the engine as quite as possible in the same specs as the oem. Yes in the opposite way the differences in weight make more vibrations, and if it is not in an acceptable range, can it destroy the engine prematurely... 🤔
Do you have to grind the clearance when using a stock length carillo H rod?
Every time I watch your videos, I want to send you a Raptor.
