    The plank: it feels like it strengthens the whole body, for the upper back to the core, even the legs and arms in some way. It's really complete and has lots of variables to focus on one key set of muscles if you want. Also great to improve resistance. It's useful whether you're a newbie or at an advanced level. Bonus: people love it when you're strong enough to let them sit on you :)

    • @orias12
      @orias12 5 років тому +2

      Thomas Busson a reverse plank is better. The plank puts a lot of weight on your lower back and you are mostly using your chest to hold yourself up opposed to your core. The reverse plank is all core and no stress on your lower back.

      Back lever. I think it looks just incredibly sick, and really showcases great strength and control on a bar or rings

    • @NeoUzumaki91

      Hi Tapp Brothers! My favorite BW exercise is the push up. (I'm Italian, we always go for the classic). Jokes apart it's my favorite because it's one of the most versatile BW exercises: you can change the grip, the stand, the height, you can train in power, in isometric, unilaterally, in movement. So many variations, some of them I picked up from your great videos.
      Thanks for your awesome work and keep them coming!

So my friend that can, would hold me when i did it or hook around my back while im in a spider like position and although i still cant, i had to do it out of pressure in a warm up and bam i done 4 steps in a handstand. Thats never happening again but attempting constantly everyday will get u there. For time, its been years of attempts and nothing but someday! Try build upper body strength

    This was super helpful! I've been aware of the number 3 issue in my handstand practice and working to correct it for ages but have still been struggling. I didn't understand why it was taking so long to improve and why it was so hard to get the right alignment upside, when I do loads of hollowbody drills and can get the right core/butt engagements and alignment in headstand and in other positions. Realized from this video it's because I'm also not pushing out fully from the shoulders and straightening my arms completely! Tested out that adjustment and it immediately made a difference! Game changer. Thank you!

    A problem I have right now is that I do precisions always with the balls of my feet on the edge of the platform I'm jumping off of (i hope you know what I mean) I'm too scared to jump big gaps with the entire foot on top of the object because I'm scared of slipping, and this makes it very hard for me to train plyo jumps.

      Take your time. Are you sure it a bone bruising? It could be a ligament. Ice it daily and rest it. If after a few weeks to a month it It is not better get a consultation on a cortisone shot to the wrist. I had something very similar to what you were describing and thought it could be a bone in my hand but it turned out to be a inflamed ligament and the Cortizone shot took care of it. Please consider this. While you are resting you can do what I did and work on your core and maybe you can do some pulling exercises. I bought some rings recently and I feel they will take my strength to the next level. I recently went to Japan and had a visit with a fortuneteller told me to slow up sometime in the next 18 months. Since I am 71 years old I’m going to take his advice, and back off a little bit but I really want to learn a handstand in the next few months. I can do a frog stand now and hold it for 20 seconds so I totally agree with this video that you need to have your fingers andThat part of your palm working in active role in a handstand position or frog position.

      lolguy trolguy It May not be a bone bruise, it could be a ligament and Just the pressure of a push-up can be very very painful. It takes a month or two to heal that even with a Cortizone shot.
