- MY CANADIAN FRIEND GRAHAM HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED MANILA BEFORE... SO WE TOOK HIM FOR A LITTLE WALK AROUND!
This is a walking around Manila video that starts in Luneta Park. From there, we head to Intramuros, take a tricycle to binondo (china town), walk to Quiapo, and then end up down by the bay around sunset. I really appreciate sharing the different sides of Manila with friends. And it was so fun just walking around with my best friend from Canada...
On another day, he had seen modern BGC and Makati. I only made a vlog for this day... which was awesome!

Love seeing you in Intramuros. I am a graduate of Mapua and I truly miss all the food stalls out there! Trivia during the 80's, you can survive lunch only for 5 pesos for a complete lunch (rice and ulam). Missing this area!

Couldn't help thinking as you were touring Manila and commenting on the history there that so much of the historic aspect of the city was obliterated during WWII. So sad to think about, but thankful that it wasn't all destroyed. Would love to tour the city myself one day. 🤙

@@ManduRugas-oe4kv Absolutely! The Japanese refused to declare Manila an open city before withdrawing, and America believed we had to take it by force in order to dislodge the Japanese, which meant shelling the city. In any event, it was such a waste of an otherwise beautiful historic city.

Whats really disgusting are the illegal dwellers occupying some streets in Intramuros. I hope that the Intramuros administration does something about the cleanliness and tidiness of the area. Educating and implementing laws regarding cleanliness should be implemented. Incidentally your Canadian friend so nice and pogi.
Ow men, I spend the whole day exploring these beautiful spots in manila and you can just enjoy it, the same vibes by watching this video in just 25 mins. My mother and younger brothers are from Vancouver. My great great grandfather is one of the founding fathers of Vancouver. I just met them last January. Hoping to take my Filipina wife out of the Philippines for her 1st time and finally join me outside of the Philippines to meet them.

For more History, Kyle. Why don't you guys pay a visit in the Correigidor Island. That was our first fortress of defense. It's amazing and rich in history and views as well. Nice beach side too. You're gonna see the biggest cannons, 10x of the one you saw at Intramuros. You're gonna see the Malinta tunnel used for fortress and escape, and many other historic views. From there at Manila, it just takes one Ferry/Yacht ride to go there. But you must arrive the Ferry/Yacht as early as 7am to cover the whole trip and leave Corregidor by 3pm back to Manila. You can also choose an overnight trip/stay there, Kabayan. Hehe.
How did Graham manage to stay fresh and sweat free while walking under Manila heat?? This was such a fun tour!! Intramuros trike drivers are built different lol
