regaring the ghost pop: I always try to focus on letting the nose travel towards my chest, making sure to give the board space by lifting knee well. I can be a bit scary to commit to the pop, but you have to remind yourself (as Josh also mentions) that it is safer, as the board sticks better, and it’s easier to bail.

I haven’t skated since I was about 18 or 20 I am now 40 and just ordered a new board with my son a girl pop secret with Indy s11, Reds bones bearings, pig risers and spitfire wheels 54mm. I use to love skating vertically. Wasn’t the best I had the basics I was a street skater but at my age vert is a lot more appealing. I live close to Philadelphia so I can go to FDR and there a few parks in west Chester. Bam margera has a shop and a skatepark underneath I just found out. If my board comes Tuesday like it says me and my son are gonna skate. He never skated before so I need to teach him he is 19. I sent him your channel I think it can help him a lot your a great teacher man. I’m learning from them also

@@SkateparkLessons is there a tutorial for flying off the side of a ramp off the coping because i can fly out really good but i wanna go off the side and land to flat
I don't recommend telling folks to knee slide on this low stuff. It tends to a create a bad habit and can result in a lot of messed up knees down the line (speaking from years of painful experience) It is way better and safer to run out if at all possible. Only time knee slides are really used is vert and vert bowls.
Run outs can work as well, that’s why most of my original videos show both styles of bails. Relaxing and collapsing into a knee slide takes less effort and lowers risk of injury and is most effective for skaters learning. When you start to hit the big gaps, run outs include tumbles. For knee pain help, Use Patrick @kneesovertoesguy for knee exercises to build strength and flexibility together. Knees can be rehabbed even after surgery or damage. It takes effort and time but can be done. Hope this helps. 💙🛹💙
